Harry knew him and Alice were abnormal. Even for wizards and witches.
Alice occasionally had these dreams, but they weren't just dreams, they were more like visions. They were hard to interpret and when we do it usually wasn't good, this one scared him.
He would never, ever, just leave Alice to die. He would rather die than let her die. He thought he'd proven this already by taking beatings for her and almost getting stabbed for her as well.
He paced his and Ron's room, tugging at his lip hard, that damn nervous showing outwardly just how stressed he was.
*Breath Potter.* He reminded himself again, trying to get himself to calm down unsuccessfully. *It could mean a lot of things! Maybe you're somewhere else and that's why you couldn't help her!* *Not helping, at all *
He fell back onto his bed and watching in fascination and frustration as black smoke danced on the palm of his hand, like black fire. That was his trick, that and that he was metamorphagus (I have to look up the direct spelling for this). He could change his appearance just by thinking about it.
The black smoke did a few things that he knew about. It worked like an extension of his arm, letting him grab things and do things with it, he could erase peoples memory's and replace them with another.
Closing his hand around the black smoke, he rolled over on his bed and fell asleep.
Sort of.

When Hagrid arrived, he wasn't expecting a giant of a man with wild brown hair, a bushy beard and hands the size of trash can lids that could easily break his neck like a tooth pick.
"'Ello Molly. 'Ow 're you?" The man thundered, his beetle eyes shinning from under the bush of hair. Despite his size, he seemed incredibly gentle.
Molly smiled, albeit a bit awkwardly, at the giant. "I am doing just fine Hagrid. Harry! Alice! Hagrid's here!" She probably though they were somewhere upstairs with Ron and Ginny, not behind a wall just outside the kitchen eavesdropping.
Alice and Harry slipped from they had hidden and came into view, innocent looks on their faces. They'd both gained a bit of weight and their eyes now sparkled with mischief.
Hagrid's eyes landed on the twins and a smile (or they thought he did, they couldn't tell exactly from behind his beard) spread across his face.
"'Arry! Alice! I 'aven't seen you since you were so small I could fit you in me pocket! And I did mind you." The man said happily, laughing at an inside joke he obviously only had with himself.
Harry smiled slightly, feeling wary of the giant. He wasn't horrible one of meeting new people. "Hello. We should be off then?"

Make a wish on our sorry little hearts have a smoke pour a drink steal a kiss in the dark
Fingernails on my skin like the teeth of a shark I’m intoxicated by the lie
In the chill of your stare I am painfully lost like a deer in the lights of an oncoming bus for the thrill of your touch
I was shamefully lust as you tell me we’re nothing but trouble
Hearts on fire tonight feels my bone ignite feels like war (x2)
We go together or we don’t go down at all (x2)
Fail safe trigger lock down call wipe the dry clean slate quick sound the alarm no escape from the truth and the weight of it all I am caught in the web of a lie
And the bitch of it all is that I’m running from the desire of the people to whom I belong
At the end of the day you can tell me I’m wrong cause you went to all of this trouble
Hearts on fire tonight feels my bone ignite feels like war (x2)
We go together or we don’t go down at all (x2)
