So sorry it's taken so long to post! Constantly staring at a screen really messes with my eyes which makes it hard for me to write. BUT it doesn't mean I'm not gonna post! I hope you enjoy! This chapter really annoyed me and took forever because I had a writers block with it for a good minuet. I really hope you enjoy it and if you do, go ahead and let me know in the comments or somethin! Anyways, here's Part Two: In The Dark!

The Royal Dining Room consisted of a large rectangular table made entirely of Rose marble. The chairs matched the table, lined in gold, with rounded black velvet cushions. The chairs had a gold trim, carved in an elegant floral style that curved to a peak on the arch.
Taking up the East wall were three, very large Bay Box Sash windows providing a glorious view of the surrounding lands. Large white and light gold curtains reaching from the ceiling to the floor, swayed in the light breeze from the opened lower left window. The floating islands could be seen as well as the Tartarean Sea.
Lenora sighed as she sat in her designated bench. Having large wings made it difficult for her to use a regular chair, so, her father had a large bench, matching the table of course, made for her.
"Mom, how do you and dad really feel about me... not wanting to take the throne..? It's a big deal in our country, and I know how much it means to you guys." She looked down at her barely touched breakfast. The feeling of dread and disappointment weighed on her shoulders as she stared at her bacon covered plate.
Her mother, sitting across from her, raised her head and glanced over at her husband carelessly gorging on his food. She sighed, wiped her mouth with her napkin and turned towards the gloomy daughter across from her. She placed her elbows on the table, folding her hands together.
"I'm proud of you Lenora. You're bold, blunt, courageous and you do whatever makes you happy. You're caring and thoughtful, and you're so strong! You're so strong you might even be stronger than your father." She smirked glancing over at her husband.
"Ha ha very funny. Maybe in a couple centuries!" He roared throwing his head back laughing, his chubby build bouncing along. She laughed lightly. "Thanks mom, but I don't want to be stronger than anybody. I just want to be myself. All this "proper lady" stuff isn't me. When I want to wear a fancy gown I'll wear a fancy gown, but if I don't want to, I'm not gonna! I don't like being told what to wear, how to wear it. What to say, when to say it, how to say it! It's all a bunch of crap-"
"Young lady." She cut her off. "I know you don't care about all this royal-" She smiles, "Crap!" They giggled.
She stood up and walked around her husband over to her daughter, lightly grasping her shoulders, "That's what I admire most about you. You are strong and passionate, and you don't take crap from anyone! I love you no matter what you want to do. Your father included." She looked over to the large man gorging on his breakfast, making a 'hmph' of acknowledgement.
She childishly stuck her tongue out at him causing a snort from her daughter. She looked back down at her, "Be who you want to be. Your father and I will love you no matter what." She reassured with her soft, gentle voice. Her lavender eyes and the sweet scent of peony gave a sense of relief over her. "Thanks mom. You too dad!" She said over her shoulder. Her father looked up and gave her a large goofy grin with a mouth full of food. "Love you sweetie!" He happily mumbled. Lenora laughed and stood up, "Alright I gotta head to training. See you guys later." With that she headed off to meet with her trainer.
