Chapter 12- the second task

** ok so imma just skip to the bit where harry is first underwater everything that happened from the point where the last on ended till Harry is under water  happens to you**

I had not a single clue what I was doing, I was pushed in by mad-eye and started swimming down.
I had lost sight of everyone just before getting to the bottom.

I saw Fred, Percy, Hermione and Gabrielle tied up by their ankles. You felt a whip of water as I saw viktor free hermione and swim up right before Cedric had let Percy loose.

Fleur was caught by the mermaid *sorry if they aren't called that I can't remember if it's right or not* making it impossible for her sister to be free. I had my wand and shoved it in my sports bra ready to grab it if needed. I set Fred free keeping a hold of him as I went to free Gabrielle I was being pulled down further being told I could only free one.

As I was let go I waited till I couldn't see anymore of the mermaids. I grabbed my wand a set her free pushing her and Fred up and I tried to swim upwards. The Gillyweed was wearing of as my body shut down, everything went black taking in water as my body sunk down deeper.

**cedrics p.o.v**

"Where is she ?! She should be up by now it's been more than 10 minutes ov-" I stopped mid sentence seeing two figures float up. For a second I though it was y/n and Fred but one was very small.

I saw Fleur reach her hand out to pull her sister out of the water and George helping Fred out. I was getting more and more nervous as the seconds go by not seeing her come up.

"Fuck it" I muttered to my self jumping in the water again swimming down deeper and deeper, I could hear people screaming my name in fear telling me to stop but I couldn't let my best friend the girl I loved die.

I saw her and I had already been down there for about half an hour by now. I swam faster placing one hand on the small of her back and one on around her shoulder pulling her into me. I had a tight grip on her making sure I didn't let her go.

I got back up to the surface of the water and my first and only priority was y/n

*y/ns p.o.v**

I felt someone wrap around my body somehow, I wasn't sure how I could feel it but I could. I felt the temperature chance and I got to the top of the water and people pulling me up and out

**cedrics p.o.v**

I got us both out placing her in my lap wrapping her in towels. I could tell she was slowly waking so I just stayed patient not forcing her to wake up knowing she would be scared.

I sat back against some sort of wall pulling her closer, by now Dumbledore had told everyone to leave. I closed my eyes taking a deep breath, I felt her squeeze my hand weakly saying "ced? What happened"

"Oh my god y/n!" I sat her up right holding the back of her head like she was a baby, I wrapped her legs around my waist leaning her onto me while I rubbed her back up and down with the other hand.

**y/ns p.o.v**

I started coughing up a bunch of water over Cedric, I felt so embarrassed and started apologising over and over again, "it's ok doll, stop apologising I only care you awake right now and ok" he said pulling me back into his chest

He picked me up and took me straight to madam Pomfrey making sure that there was nothing wrong anymore.

While Madam Pomfrey was getting me a check up (I didn't know what to put so this just sounds weird) Cedric held my hand rubbing small circles in the palm. As soon as she was done he picked me up and took me to my dorm.

He lay me down on the sofa in the common room and lay next to me, "how are you ? Are you cold, warm?" "I'm fine ced" you replied falling asleep curled up next to him
