New Moon

What a drag, it's been two months since I have lost all my cadets in the latest mission. It brought me so much jealousy seeing other squads together.

Today I'm being moved into Levi's squad which I'm really nervous about. They are a very elite squad that gets hand picked but I got taken in due to my whole squad being wiped. 

I started getting ready by putting on my uniform but and adding some oil to lay down my bed head hair.

I didn't do any effort to do my hair since its shoulder length and can't do much with it. The oil helps it stay put and not get in the way. 

The cabin feels empty and sad without the laughter and jokes of my cadets. I grabbed my bag that had all my belongings and went to the stables.

I took my horse and headed my way to Shiganshina districted where they are stationed at. It was really close to here so it didn't take much time.

When I started getting closer I noticed that it wasn't just any cabin. It was a really tall castle that must have been abandoned a long time ago. Really different from mine and others I have seen. 

I saw a stable behind the castle and headed there. I got off my horse and brought it in an empty stable. While closing the door I heard a someone shout towards my direction.

" Who are you? How did u find this place?"

I turned to look at who it was and it was one of the squad's member. He had very short grey hair, green/yellowish eyes, and was about 5'10 - 5'11ish.

" I'm y/n. The new member of your squad, I'm sure they have told you that already."

He looked at me with the most confused face, which made me feel embarrassed because what if this is the wrong place. He looked up the building, directly to one of the windows and starts screaming the name Sasha.

A cheerful girl with brown hair in a ponytail with side bangs was looking down at at us. She started screaming back gibberish.

" What do you want Conn- , who is that next to you !?"

Before he can answer at her, she was gone. I blinked for a second and saw her right next to him panting and trying to catch her breath. When she finally got a hold of herself, the girl name sash was examining me.

" Well she has to be one of us since she has her uniform on." -- she tugged on to my arm, " Come on let's head inside."

The man with us grabbed her arm pulling us back and not let us walk to the front.

" Sasha what are u doing? You can't just invite anyone inside." He tried whispering to her but he was a little too loud.

"And?" she shrugged while smacking his head. He sighed and rolled his eyes at her.

"Now let's go and talk to Captain Levi, he should know." She held my hand this time and lead me to the entrance and into the dining room.

The grey haired man went to go look for Captain Levi and the rest of the squad. While waiting she offered a piece of bread but I rejected it. My stomach hurt of all the nerves and the interaction.

I heard a group of foot steps and the sound of talking getting closer. The door swung open and everyone was staring at me with a confused expression. I looked at everyone and then looked a bit down to see Captain Levi.

" Listen up guys, we have a new cadet joining our squad starting today."

"Why didn't you tell us?!," a dude with reddish hair screamed.
