"VIOLET!"

A scream was heard that made everyone shiver. It shook their cores of how full of terror that scream was.

"VIOLET PLEASE!" Again, the voice was loud and twisted with gut wrenching pain.

Back at the school, everyone was debating whether to go look for Ruby and Jade or wait for them to come back. When Violet had learned what happened earlier from Willy she felt so broken, she knew this must mean that Jade just left without so much as a goodbye. But then she thought that Jade wouldn't be able to leave if she talked to Violet, because Violet wouldn't let her do that and she'd find the words to calm her down and let her collect herself.

That's why Jade was screaming for Violet.

Everyone gathered at the gate and saw three figures.

Jade with blood on her hands and shirt.

And some guy with glasses.

And Ruby's very pale body being held by both of them, blood all over her clothes and neck.

Their faces fell as the horror of this situation hit them.

"Ruby!" Clementine yelled as she ran to open the gate, she ran straight to them as they stopped and put Ruby's body on the ground. Jade had been crying and sobbing hysterically. She fell to her knees as she saw Violet come running towards her. She opened her arms weakly as she let Violet take her in her embrace. She kept on crying and sobbing in Violet's chest, muttering how sorry she was.

Clementine leaned over Ruby's lifeless body and couldn't believe what was happening right now. She had just seen her yesterday and they were laughing together, now she lay without moving. And Clementine didn't know how to take this. She had lost yet another person she cared about and her blood was boiling.

There was a stab wound to her forehead but her neck was also cut open which meant only one thing to Clementine.

Someone killed her.

She wiped her tears and made her way over to Violet and Jade, she ripped Jade violently away from Violet's embrace and started shaking her with so much force.

"Who did this?!" Clementine yelled at her with tears streaming down her face. "Tell me damn it!" She kept yelling but Jade could only cry her heart out as she felt immense pain and sadness wash over her.

Clementine was filled with rage and grief at the sight of her lost friend and she couldn't blame anyone other than Jade. She had almost forgotten about the strange guy with glasses. He stood far away from them with his arms around his body protectively. He was scared and worried by the way he stood and kept his distance and not saying a word.

Violet was shaken by all the things unfolding right before her eyes, she didn't know what to make of this, and whether to cry at the loss of her friend or console her other friend or go check on Aasim.

He was standing there right outside the gate with the others. It was like time froze and he couldn't bring himself to move or do anything about what just happened.

He didn't believe his eyes and he thought that maybe it's just a bad dream and that he'll wake up soon to Ruby's smile and her warm touch. He was shocked and he couldn't believe that his lover was gone. He had loved her for so long. He didn't even say goodbye. How was he supposed to know that yesterday was their last day together? That this morning was the last time he'd wake up next to her? That their last conversation was the end?

A single tear rolled down his cheek as he slowly approached her. He knelt in front of her and held her, he pulled her up and laid her head on his lap.
