act i : scene xvii

we're currently at the great hall for lunch. everybody's wearing their casual outfit. i see harry, ron, and hermione from across the hall. ron nudges harry —who sat beside him and nodding towards me. they waving their hands with a big grin etched on his face, hermione gives me a soft beautiful smile. i smile and wave back, daphne opens her mouth to say something but draco cuts her,

"can i talk to you?" he whispers to my ear, eye pleading.

"now?" i caught a glimpse of the golden trio getting up, walking toward the door. "uh- i need to help potter first, is that okay? tonight, my room and we're going to uh... painting or mask? that sounds good? okay, bye!" i kiss his cheek before he could answer and i follow the golden trio to the transfiguration classroom.

"hey!"

"hullo y/n!" ron and i shakes hand with our secret hand-shake food buddies thing.

"y/n! i'm so sorry last night i ask you to teach harry, i just finish my homework i'm so sorry" hermione says, walking beside me.

"isn't a problem 'mione, we aren't learning though, he's sleeping" i took a seat beside ron.

"huh? i thought we were just going to try all the spells we have learned before so we don't need to practice anymore this week"

"apparently, we need to learn the four-point spell before we could try all the other spells" i shrug. hermione sighs and began explaining the four-point spell to harry just like i did last night. harry, ron and i are sitting whilst hermione in front of us teaching like a teacher,

"you held your wand in your palm flat and just say 'point me'"

harry put his wand in his palm and he murmurs "point me", he succeeds in first attempt only.

"now we're going to recite the spells we've learned harry!" hermione says excitedly, a big grin across her face. he starts to try the spells one by one, trying it on ron and some random items.

he already mastered the impediment curse, the stunning spell, the reductor curse, the shield charm and lastly the four-point spell.

we're still at the transfiguration classroom in peace, no one's talking just a sound of wind outside and our breaths. tired from all the lesson and overthinking about what could possibly happen at the third —last task. it's near dinnertime, not realising how much time we've spent to just repeating the spells all over again.

"do i need to try all the spells again before the task?" harry asks, getting up from the table he's been laying on.

"if you're confident enough and trusting yourself then i don't think so but it's up to you" i shrug, eyelids heavy.

"nah, perhaps i should take a rest before task too y'know"

"yes, but don't forget homework harry!" hermione reminds him but he pretends not to hear it.

"well, i think i'll be best off" harry says, shaking ron's shoulder —he's been sleeping since harry tried the reductor curse.

"yeah me too" hermione chimes in, getting up and brings her wand to her jeans pocket. ron wakes up soon after,

"okay, bye then" i said softly, watching them scramble to the door.

"bye y/n!" before i get to the great hall for dinner, before i go there, i go somewhere first.

after dinner, draco and i are in my dorm. alone. daphne and pansy are at the boys dorm, play some game or making out probably. millicent is in the common room, gossiping with her friends.
