CASSANDRA DIDN'T KNOW WHAT TO think about this. Stiles had been acting off for the few weeks that she had been back in Beacon Hills. Now he was missing? She jumped out of bed to get dressed and rush over to Scott's house next door.
When she got to the house, she didn't even have to knock before the door opened to reveal Scott on the other side. He looked as confused as she did. She was more distraught than he was because of her past experience with a family member going missing; it definitely traumatized her.
"Cass, come in," Scott told her.
She raced inside Scott's house to see Isaac Lahey. She gave him a polite smile. Scott's phone rang.
"Hey Stiles," Scott started, now on speaker phone with Stiles.
"Did you call him? Did you call my dad?" Stiles asked over the phone.
Cassandra sure as hell hoped they had called her uncle. He and his station could help find Stiles. Unless this was a supernatural thing, in which case they probably should leave them out of this.
The problem is, they had no idea if this was a supernatural situation or not.
"No, just Isaac and Cass-"
Stiles interrupted. "Cass? Cass, do not call my dad, please."
Cassandra was dumbfounded. "Why not Stiles? Why can't we ask him to help?"
"I don't want to worry him!"
Cassandra scoffed. "I think now is the time for him to worry!"
"Just please, don't call him. Cassandra, promise me. You're stubborn, but you believe in promises."
Cassandra was pissed he had used her loyalty, her fatal flaw, against her. Stiles was a lot smarter than people know.
"Fine. I promise, Stiles," she said, tears pooling in her eyes.
"Hey, we're gonna find him," Scott said, holding onto her arm. He pulled away to talk to Stiles again. "We're coming to find you. Can you figure out where you are? Try to find something and tell us where to look."
