Chapter 6

LUKE'S POV:

I woke up and I put on a sleeveless white shirt and jeans. I walked downstairs and had breakfast with my mom and dad. I walk to Alex's house where Reggie would most likely be staying because his parents constantly fight.

"Hey Miss Mercer" I greeted Alex's mom. I never really liked her she was very homophobic and And she didn't like people that weren't white and I just don't see the point of treating colored people and people that have a different sexuality, different.

"How are you doing darling?" She asked

"I'm fine thank you uhh Where is Alex?" I asked her politely. She weirded me out a little. She was always a bit too touchy.

"He's right heer" She says in a dull tone

I see Alex eating a quick banana😏 and then running to me with Reggie trailing behind him he says bye to his mom and closes the door and leave with us.

"So how is it with you and Julie," Reggie said

"Oh you wrote the song I guess" I answered back

"Did you guys flirt, you guys kiss," Reggie asked

"I think you're getting way ahead of yourself there Reggie," Luke said. After that weird conversation, we walk to school talking about music and the band and school and stuff. Right now we're in our first-period history class. Our teacher was really cool so we basically slacked off. I and Julie had science together and we got paired up again for a project. But our science teacher was cool too so we had 4 weeks to complete it instead of one month because he knew that we had a project in the music program. Before Julie left for her class I caught her just in time before we left.

"so are we meaning of at your place to continue the song, "I asked

"yeah sure," Said Julie

She murmured something as she was leaving but I didn't hear and I didn't want to bother her so I didn't ask.

JULIE POV:

"yeah sure," I said

"That was weird," I whispered under my breath. I went to go get my math books and I found Flynn waiting for me

"Hey slacker," I said to Flynn

"Hey, Loser. How was science," Flynn asked being the good friend she was.

"honestly pretty weird I got paired up with Luke again,"I said

"Hey it's okay maybe you guys can rekindle up your friendship, "Flynn said

"You can't get back something that's long gone, anyways how was your class," I said thinking about the relationship me and Luke once had and then quickly coming back to the present and remembering about my best friend Flynn. We went to my house after school and just talked about our day.

REGGiES POV:

I said bye to the guys then walked home and I heard my mom and dad arguing again and I went upstairs to do my homework. And then I heard my father calling me. And I knew I was in trouble even though I didn't do anything.

I went downstairs and greeted my father appropriately "yes Father"I can't stand calling him father he's nothing like a father He beats my little sister for no reason and I have to stand around and watch and the last time I did something he threw me against the wall, created a dent in the wall, and broke my nose when he was punching me.

I turned around and out of nowhere, he slapped me with full force that I fell to the ground. I looked up and I could sense that he was drunk. My mother walked up to me and tried to help me up but my father yelled at her and slapped her. "DON'T TOUCH HIM BITCH"

He grabbed a baseball bat and walked up to me and...

That's right I gave you guys a Cliffy please don't be mad. I finally updated on time. And sorry started with Julies point of view because I already had that one pre-written but I promised you guys a Reggie point of view. And this one is short so sorry. Question of the day. Have you ever had a pet? 

I had a pet before it was a Rottweiler twice my size and back then I was like 4 feet now I'm 5 feet. Now I'm going to tell you the story of how he died in the next part of the book.
