*Mileena and Kitana* She sits. She waits. She huffs and buffs. She hears the bells outside which means she must get dressed. She grabs her best vail and her iron made beautiful war fans. Almost forgetting her tiara, she heads back and grabs that almost tripping on her dress. She quickly walks down the long halls hoping one of the guards don't see she was taking a break. She decides to take the secret passage way her mother told her about. Step my step she walks down a cold moist tunnel. She notices a door that leads to another room. She decides to investigate and finds Skarlet.

"What are you doing in here?" Kitana asks. Skarlet turns around eyes widened, and teeth grinding pauses and stares in fear at Kitana. "Nothing.. I was just looking at fathers books.." Skarlet said with anxiety trapped in her throat. Kitana proceeds to eye roll and walk over to see the book she was reading. On the cover reads Blood Magic, Kitana gasps at the sight of it. "You know we aren't allowed to look at these-" she pauses. "you're gonna get us both in trouble!" As she put the book back on the pedestal. "I'm sorry It just seems so interesting..." Skarlet replied with a shy tone. "It's okay let's just get back to the ceremony.." Kitana grabbed her hand and left back to the passage way out the correct way. They step outside and feel the warm temperature of the sun. "There you two are" Jade calls out in her usual majestic tone.

*Jade* "Sorry I had to take a break, all of this is making me so flabbergasted." Kitana replies pulling up her long glittery skirt. "Anyway let's get to it come on!" Jade says taking Kitana's hand into the ladies dressing room. They both walk inside to smell beautiful perfume and busy girls running all over the room. The 3 make their way to Queen Sindel's person tent for dressing. She's applying blush when she looks down she opens her mouth. "Ahh There's my beautiful birthday girl." She says setting down her blush and proceeding to put her hands on both sides of her face. She looks up and looks around.

*Empress Sindel* "Where is Mileena?" She asks Kitana. "I don't know, i haven't seen her all morning." She responds. Sindel let's go of kitana and pats the chair next to her for her to sit on. With that Jade leaves, and Skarlet wonders off into her own dressing room tent. Sindel looks back at kitana beginning to do her makeup. "Mother..." Kitana asks her while being hesitant. "What is it?" Sindel replies while stroking on blue eyeshadow. "How old would I be in earth-realm years?" She says quickly. yes Sindel stops applying the eyeshadow, and looks down at the pallet... She looks at it for a moment and then looks back up. "I believe 16 years old darling." She replies. Kitana smiles and closes her eyes letting her Mother continue. "That's so much more simple than being 6,000 years old.." Kitana says letting out a chuckle, Sindel joins her in laughter.
