Chapter 2 roomates

I am so invested in this book already I'm really loving writing this! I started the book today and I am already on chapter two lol enjoy!!!!

John POV ( a lot of the first half of the book is going to be John POV)

"Wait but their both boys." I said surprised that he didn't care. "Yup. Wait are you homophobic!" He said getting mad at me. "No no no. Its just that I'm gay and everyone back in my home town hates me even my own family. That's why they sent me here just to get rid of me." I said trying to fight back tears. But I couldn't hide from the truth anymore I started crying softly not caring what anyone thought. Alex gave me a sympathetic look and pulled me into a hug. He then said " your gonna have a lot of fun here like half the people here a heterosexual." We both laughed he put his hand on my tear stained cheek then two people burst into the room. One was riding the other on his back and then quickly jumped off and gave Alex a hug. " Mon ami I missed you so much." He then turned to me and said in a deep French accent " Omg are you are new roommate?" He asked excited and then pulled me into a hug. I could tell this was going to be a fun summer. Then a big muscular man came and wrapped Alex into a big hug and the same for me. He then said " My name is Hercules Mulligan but please call me Herc." Then the other guy said " Hi my name is Lafayette but please call me laf." We put our stuff away and I changed into some shorts it was a lot hotter here then back home. We started taking a tour of the place it was amazing.

Alex POV
I was blushing really hard and Laff and Herc noticed. Then Laff whispered "so someone's got a little crush." I punched him in the arm and continued showing John around. Then we bumped into washingdad. He hugged Laff and Herc. Then I quickly introduced John to him. "John this is Mr. Washington but I call him washingdad. Only I can do that though." He laughed. OMG I LOVE HIS LAUGH! He is so cute! Then the John shook hands with washingdad and we headed to the lake. He immediately started squealing. And then ran onto the beach and held in his hand a turtle. We ran up to him. He said " behold a cinnamon roll to good to pure." He said laughing we all started laughing as well. Our eyes met for just a second and I stared into his big light brown eyes.He started blushing and so did I. Before I could do anything embarrassing Herc came to the rescue. "You should name it twilight." John responded with " wow that's a beautiful name. Is twilight your favourite show?" Laff couldn't hold in his laughter. Herc started blushing. "No it's his favourite character from my little pony!" I said wheezing. We all sat on the beach laughing so hard. Then Peggy ran towards us she then started screaming " No way!" And tackled John.

John POV
No  it can't be it is OMG! It's Peggy! Peggy was my best friend ever since she skipped the third grade and was then in my class she moved away after middle school right before I needed her most. She then proceeded to tackle me. "Peggy it's been so long why did you leave me?" I said so excited that she was there. "I am sorry John" she replied " I was forced. "But how did you know I was coming here." She screamed pulling me into a tighter hug. Alex had a confused look on his face and then came to realization. " Oh so this is the John you told us about." Laff and Herc suddenly remembered. Apparently Peggys parents sent her here as an apology and she told everyone that she was very upset about it. When I say everyone I mean everyone. " Wait you guys know Peggy?" I said happily still hugging her. Laff responded " of course we know Peggy!" Herc then said "what's weird is that you know Peggy!" We all talked for a while and we didn't need to explain how we met because well they already knew. Then I saw Eliza. She was looking for her sister but when she saw me she gave me the biggest hug I have ever received. " John what are you doing here! It's been years!" I was never as close with Eliza as I was with Peggy but she was always a good friend of mine. "It's been two years since I last saw you!"( there in grade ten.) she squealed in excitement. Then Peggy said something that sounded like gibberish but I knew exactly what it meant. "Wait a second you don't like. No did you. Do they hate you!" I nodded sadly. She hugged me and we all chatted for a while it was crazy seeing Peggy. I haven't seen her in so long maybe summer camp won't be so bad after all.

Still John POV
It was lunch time and I was hungry. Alex told me that the food here was amazing. It was. We all sat at a large table with me, Herc, Laff,Alex,Eliza and Peggy. I could tell that this was going to be a great summer. Peggy doesn't befriend jerks that's for sure. We all finished up and then Eliza and Peggy said bye and headed to their cabin. We walked inside and then Herc asked "so what should we do now?" "I don't know mon amour."  Laff responded. "Oh I have an idea! We could gather the schylers and play man hunt." I said "that's Peggys favourite game !" We all said at the same time.

Hope you liked this chapter I started this book today and like I think I'm doing pretty good! Someone asked if Martha (Johns little sister) is going to be apart of the story. she is!! I don't know how I'll involve her but she will be there
