My name is Payton. I am a happy spunky girl who comes from a well to do family in Ireland. We settled in the US about 300 years ago one by one parts of the family started fresh, my family was one of the last settling here just a few weeks ago. I can't wait to go to a new school and make new friends! So let's get this show on the road. I got on the bus at around 7:30 am and got to school at 8:00 am. There were no more seats on the bus so I had to sit in the aisle. Little did I know that it would be where I sat for the next week. Anyway I got to home room ok but I didn't realize how big the school really was. My class, was in the basement and that's where we spent the day. I met a few people who seemed really nice but there was only one who really caught my eye, his name was George. We made eye contact with each other a few times but would quickly look away when we saw that the other saw us. After class I went up to him and said, "Wanna be friends?" He replied quickly, "YES!" and that was the end of my day. All in all it was a great first day.
