☹︎ ♥︎•.•°•.•°•.•♥︎ ☹︎"The moon is beautiful, isn't it?"
A short male with chocolate locks crouched besides me, quite dangerous considering my legs were half dangling off a cliff. He seemingly wanted my attention as the crouched turned into shoulders almost touching accompanied by exchange of heat between our thighs.
But I couldn't bring myself to answer his question. The Moon. All I could think of was Her.
Her who saved me from a broken home with an abusive father.
Her who offered me a new job. A new tribe, a loving family.
Her who believed in me no matter how weak I had been.
Her that made me believe that I, a woman, was capable -maybe even stronger- then what every man believed I could be.
"Uh, my names Elias, I'm from a village nearby." He seemed to laugh, for whatever reason it may be. Nothing was funny to me in this situation, neither was I interested in the presence of this male.
Her who's presence always filled me with indescribable amounts of love, for myself and for her.
Her who's smile always shone through the dim light from beneath the leaves.
Her who'd always honour the hunted, no matter how weak the beast.
She had my heart, body and soul. I would give it up to her any day. But the mistress of the hunt had devoted herself as a virgin. The wind nipped at my exposed toes but I couldn't bring myself to pay any mind to it.
Love doesn't go the way you want it to, may the fates curse Aphrodite and all her brethren.
Her who denounced all men but still fell in love with that damned Orion.
Her who weeped after the Earth had swallowed him up.
Her who never faltered and always managed to keep a brave face in-front of us no matter how much she suffered.
I have seen her cry by the waterfall they first met at ; it breaks my heart.
She could never love me. I am a lowly soldier she had recruited and the huntsman was the only male who managed to break into her heart.
"She's beautiful." Was the only thing I could say to the man, for that is the only thing I can think of. I have fallen for the moon, but she is too far away from me.
