"So when's the last time you've been here? With the way Caleb was talking he hasn't seen you here in a while." Lucas asked me.

We were about 20 minutes into our workout, both of us already broken into a sweat.

I shrugged, "Not sure. A few weeks maybe? I've been pretty busy." I said nonchalantly.

"Well doesn't look like you've been out of practice for a few weeks. You've been kicking my ass." he said, both of us smirking.

"Well it's not like that's anything new." I teased, making him roll his eyes.

"Very funny princess," he said. He was quiet for a second before speaking up, "I have missed hanging out with you." he said.

"I have too." I admitted.

"Katie just always wants to hang out, and I don't mind spending time with her but she like, never wants to do something by herself. I think I've finally talked her into doing some more stuff on our own now." he said.

I nodded wordlessly, "What do you think of her?" he asked me.

"Of Katie?" I asked, taken aback. He just nodded in response.

I shrugged, "I don't really know her. She seems nice enough." I said, choosing my words carefully.

"Nice enough?" he questioned.

"Lucas I'm not really sure what you want me to say," I admitted, "I feel like you're hoping I'll say something negative." I said.

He sighed and sat down on the bench, "I just feel like she's been trying to keep me away from you guys. She always wants to hang out with Rebecca and them and whenever I bring up doing something with you guys she finds a reason that she can't or asks to do something else." he said.

I sat down next to him, "Then bring it up with her. Tell her you want to do something with us for once. A relationship shouldn't be one-sided." I told him honestly.

"I just think it's weird she never wants to do stuff with you guys. She doesn't even know you guys she hasn't given you a chance. Is she scared of you guys or something?" he asked.

I shrugged, "I have no idea what's going on in her head. Sometimes, some girls are just more insecure about things in a relationship." I said.

"What does she have to be insecure about?" Lucas asked.

I chuckled, "God you're an idiot." I said.

"What the Hell?" he asked, surprised at my bluntness.

"I mean come on Lucas. You've slept with half of our class. Not to mention the amount of rumors that have gone around about you an me. There's no way people haven't told her about them. They're enough to make any girl nervous about dating you." I said. I was surprised finding myself giving him dating advice. I mean, I shouldn't be helping him make his relationship better, should I? I was too nice for my own good sometimes.

"I guess you're right. But I will bring up hanging out with you guys more to her. I mis you guys. Even Cole." he said the last two words with a smile.

I gave him a fake shocked look, "I'm telling him you said that." I said and he laughed loudly.

I stood up and held out my hands to help him up, "Come on Hunter. We aren't even close to done with our workout." I said.

An hour later as we were cleaning our things up and cooling down Lucas spoke again, "You're still coming to Clara's Birthday Party on Saturday right?" he asked.

"Obviously. If I missed it that girl would find a way to track me down and kill me herself." I said and Lucas laughed.

"Okay good. I'm not sure if I'd be able to survive that many six and seven year olds and their parents if I'd be by myself." he said.
