Drama in my life...

elizabeth & jacob

to set the scene: Elizabeth and Jacob are in his car, in the parking lot of a Barnes & Nobles.

"Please Liz don't make me fall." Jake whines as he looks out the window, admiring the christmas lights displayed.

Elizabeth starts to feel flirty plus she is having fun. Seductively she asks, "Why don't you?"

Elizabeth's question makes Jake's heart stop. He wants to kiss her but he knows it is wrong. He wants to love her but he just can't. Jake turns his head and looks Liz in her warm brown eyes and can't resist her. "You know I can't. But I wish you knew how I feel about you."

Being curious, Liz asks "How would your girlfriend feel if she knew all the things you do for me? All the things you say to me?" this makes Jake stop. He thinks for a minute but Liz keeps going. "How would she feel if she knew how you felt for me?"

"She would be heartbroken, which is why I can't tell her yet."

Nothing is said for a while. They both just sit there, staring at the lights, reveling in the tension between them. But Jake cuts through the silence when he says, "I like you a lot Elizabeth. May I kiss you?"

Elizabeth doesn't even have to think about it, she knows her answer. They both lean in for a kiss but then someone knocks on the window. They're interrupted by Elizabeth's best friend Kalliope

yeahhh... this doesn't happen. i just want it to go like that.
