"Are you guys finally ready?" Mikayla's voice boomed with infatuous excitement.
They were at currently at the private airport that was owned by their uncle. Artemisia, being the oldest, most reasonable and most responsible of the girls; carried an overnight bag, a laptop case and a massive case which contained all her perfectly, colour-coordinated and arranged clothing.
Gwendolyn, being the middle of all three girls meant that she was fun and considerate, carried two cases and a laptop case. The youngest and the bride-to-be , could be slightly immature and forgetful at times, carried an overnight bag and a case.
"Well I'm anxious to see how we are going to work out activities for all these days." Artemisia commented as she made sure that her luggage was properly tagged with her name and surname.
"You, Arty, sweetheart, had better focus on managing our finances and making sure that we have enough time for everything that I have planned." Gwendolyn smiled wickedly.
"Awu, quit it you two big bullies. No bickering please, we are going to have lots and lots of fun. I don't care as to who plans what and when." The green-eyed Mikayla looked up at both the older girls.
Both sighed in unison and replies came out.
"Okay."
"Sure thing."
Having their tickets checked and confirmed. Arty entered the jet first.
"Thank you for flying with M International. I hope you have a safe and comfortable flight." The air hostess announced as all three sisters were about to be shown to their seats. One of the air attendants showed them to their seats.
Settling in calmly and comfortably, Arty smiled as she noted that her father had made sure that they traveled in style on his private jet.
"I hardly slept last night, so I spent the better part of the night packing and unpacking because I couldn't make up my mind as to what to take," Mikayla informed the sisters, "but I assure you guys that I will be sleeping during the four-to-five hours."
"Yeah right. I can't imagine the chatterbox asleep. Can you even sleep, Kayla" Gwendolyn teased Mikayla.
"Mxm, you adrenal junkie!" Kayla lightly pushed her cousin and pretended to be angry.
Artemisia sat by the window, Mikayla sat in-between Artemisia and Gwendolyn.
"Please make sure that you buckle up your belts, we are taking off in two minutes" the air hostess's voice sounded through the intercom.
After a smooth take-off, everyone was informed that they were now allowed to remove their belts and walk around.
"Hey Gwen?" Artemisia called to her cousin.
"Yeah?" She questioned.
"Please pass me my laptop, its in the cabin above our seats. My laptop case is black and grey" she gave instructions.
"Okay sure." Gwen reached into the cabin, opened it up and took Artemisia's grey-black laptop case, she passed it over to its original owner.
"There you go Arty, aren't you eating first?" Gwen questioned, a little worried.
"Thanks, little sister." Arty smiled teasingly causing Gwen to roll her eyes. "Nope, I don't feel like eating. I'll just drink some water."
"Suit yourself, I'm hungry!" Kayla's voice surprised them, causing both heads to snap in her direction. Shock clearly etched on their faces.
"I thought you were asleep...?" Arty's statement came in form of a question.
"Not until I get something in my stomach, unlike you, I eat four times a day." The 24 year old announced, folded her arms and lifted her head proudly.
"You really do eat a lot, for that skinny little body of yours. Wonder what Ethan thinks of your eating habit." Gwen pretended to think while she called the air attendant over to them.
Gwen ordered a chicken wrap with a glass of water. Kayla ordered a cheese double-pounder burger, fries with blue cheese sauce and a glass of soda. Arty ordered a greek salad and a glass of cold water. The air flight attendant left and the conversation perked up to its normal topic.
"Ethan loves me with my extreme eating habit." She smiled as she thought of her soon-to-be husband.
Oh oh...Kayla was very much in-love with Ethan. Both her cousin, swhich were more like sisters than cousins, we're happy for her.
The return of the attendant, brought about silence as she gave them their meals.
The sisters ate their meals, chatted a bit and just enjoyed being there with each other.
