Gabriel surveyed the team of people. It took him back, as if it was yesterday. They looked like a Drakim Unit getting ready for a mission. Blaine handed out the cloaks that Felix had left for them. Gabriel, despite the circumstances, couldn't suppress his smile as Drago slipped his arms through the jacket section of the cloak and drew it up onto his shoulders.
Gabriel hadn't really noticed before, but Drago looked a lot like his father. He moved over to where Drago was now trying to button the collar up. Gabriel showed him how to crossover the collar and button it up. He patted Drago on the shoulder.
'Dryan would have been proud.'
Drago just nodded in response as a tinge of regret from not knowing his Father welled up inside him. He pushed it away. His sister's life was hanging in the balance; there would be time to reminisce later. As each of them got themselves ready, they took turns in the armoury, deciding which weapons to take with them.
Xavier stuck with the cylinders he always carried. Finally all ready and armed Gabriel went to the shelf and took one of the orbs as Felix had directed. Gabriel spoke to the group.
'Drago, Xavier and Danny are with me. Blaine, Aria, Zeus will be with Jericho. Stay together in your unit. We are about to go and infiltrate a demon house, our target it Reboaz, don't let anything else get in your way, we need that weapon. Each of you has one of these blue disks'
Gabriel held up a disk.
'Use this on the weapon to keep it from going back to the abyss. Remember what's at stake here.'
Gabriel activated the orb, the portal opened, its silver surface shimmering in the low light of the basement. Gabriel drew his sword and stepped through followed by the rest of the group.
Razok sat on his throne surrounded by his servants. The doors to his throne room swung open, creaking under their own weight. Reboaz flanked by Razok guards entered and knelt, bowing low before the head of the Razok house. Rising to his feet, he spoke.
'My lord Razok, it seems that the Master has failed to deliver the boy.'
Razok pondered Reboaz words.
'Come take your place my friend.'
Reboaz climbed the short steps to the throne and took his seat by Razok's side.
'Tell me more of this failure' said Razok his voice low.
Reboaz recounted the story to Razok, with a strong leaning to his personal point of view.
'The master trusted a halfwit who wanted to be a master and went along with a plan to bait the boy, using a woman the boy is fond of. It failed to go to plan when the woman was killed in a scuffle with the boy's protectors.'
Reboaz failed to tell Razok, that he had killed Sara. Razok was most amused, although he had partnered with the Master during the Drakim slaughter, there was no love lost between the two of them in fact Razok openly despised the Master to his face. Reboaz continued
'My current intelligence leads me to believe that the boy is here on Xaria. There has also been an interest from Lucifer and a small group of renegade angels.'
Razok pointed ears had pricked up when Reboaz had mentioned Lucifer.
'What is Lucifer's interest in the boy?'
Reboaz decided he needed to be careful. He didn't want his emotions to get the better of him and blurt something out that might compromise his position.
'I was informed that Lucifer had taken the boy captive, but he was rescued by his protectors and he now looks to reclaim his prize, what he wanted with the boy, I am not sure.'
