Amelia

I wake up to the sound of my dad blasting 'Somebody To Love' by Queen throughout the house. This is one of the things I miss the most about living with my parents. Every weekend since I can remember my dad would always play his music around the house, whilst he cooks us all breakfast. It is my favourite way to wake up.

I sit up in bed and look out over the water in front of the house whilst I stretch. I then push the covers off and get out of bed. Before I go downstairs I grab a pair of black trainer socks out of my wardrobe and slip them onto my feet.

My bedroom door is already open. Katie must have slept in the other bed last night and then got up earlier to go home and get changed before the rest of our group come over later.

I walk down the hallway and go down the stairs into the living room. Penelope is sat on the main couch in her pyjamas with a bed head, engrossed in The Little Mermaid. I don't bother her and go into the kitchen.

"Morning" I say to my parents and other sisters, who are all in there either sitting around the kitchen island or cooking breakfast.

"Morning" They all reply as I sit down next to Molly, who is scrolling through her phone looking a bit pissed off and shaking her head.

"Look at this" Molly huffs, showing me what has pissed her off. It is a media picture of us coming out of the hotel after the fitting yesterday "Thank God the bags weren't clear or else they would have seen the dresses and everything would have been ruined"

"It wouldn't have been ruined, but my private life would have been if there wasn't a tree covering my face. Barely anyone in London knows who my family are. Well I mean they know my last name and shit like that, but I don't want them to treat me any differently" I laugh. Thank God for that tree

"Really I didn't know that. I just thought you didn't like being in the public eye, which is very understandable" she replies

"No the whole thing about being 'famous' and people following me is a big part of it too" I admit, using air quotes for the word famous. "Anyway what are you doing today?" I ask her.

"I'm going for lunch with some friends in town. What about you?" She asks me

"I'm doing kind of the same thing. My friends are all coming over later and we're gonna watch a movie or something. Actually is there any left over snacks from last night?" I reply. I could use the leftovers if there is any to stock the snack bar in the cinema room.

"Yeah there's loads, but they are still in the lodge and it is a literal pigsty in there at the moment" she tells me. She is probably over exaggerating. We didn't make that much of a mess did we?

"You're over exaggerating. It can't be that bad, and anyway if I use them it means that I don't need to go to the shops and get more"

Just then my dad says "Mil, can you get 6 plates out of the cupboard please since you're the closest" I'm guessing that he is going to serve up the breakfast now.

"Yeah, do you want me to put them in the oven or just leave it" I ask as I go over to the large cupboard that we keep dishes in.

"Put 5 of them in the oven, Don't heat Penny's she will most likely burn herself" he replies as he cracks another egg into the frying pan"

"Okay" I reply. I then take six plates out of the cupboard and place them on the table, whilst I turn on the oven that happens to be on the other side of the room. Once I've done that I go back over to where I left the plates and pick up five of them, which I then put in the oven to warm up so the food doesn't go cold straight away.
