I got home as fast as I can and I hear yelling outside the of the house. I busted open the door to find my "dad" beating my mom. I grabbed a knife, pulled his hair, and put the knife to his throat. 

Y/C: Kids go upstairs with mommy sissy gots this. 

After everyone was upstairs I threw him onto the ground.

Y/C: What the FUCK did I say about hurting her. 

"Dad":...

Y/C: WHAT DID I SAY!

"Dad": Not to.

Y/C: So now you are going to get your sorry ass out of this house. (You cut his leg a little bit) 

I dragged him out of the house.

Y/C: DOES ANYONE HAVE A PHONE! 

I saw a familiar face that walked up to to me and gave me their phone. I dialed the emergency number and talk to the operator.  They have a ambulance and cops pull up. I got my mom and sibling into the ambulance and my "dad" is put into a cop car. I calmed down and started to hyperventilate when everyone was gone.

The person that helped me with the phone gave me a hug while I cried into their shoulder. I looked up and saw Reid.

Y/C: Holy shit. Sorry I didn't know it was you. 

Reid: It's ok I understand. 

Reid continued to give me a long hug that made me feel safe.

Y/C: "whispered thank you."

Reid hugged me tighter. I invited him inside. 

Y/C: Sorry it's such a mess.

I started to gather all the drugs and flush them, I broke all the syringes, and threw away all the spoons. I started to clean up blood and glass while Reid sat on the couch.

Reid: So this is where you live.

Y/C: Yep a real shit hole.

Reid: It has....potential.

We both started to laugh.

Y/C: Hey, you wanna come to the store with me?  

Reid: Bet. I gotta get my skateboard though.

Y/C: Alright. Bet losaaaa.

I got my skateboard and followed Reid to his house.

Y/C: You lived this close and I never knew.

Reid: Yeah, but we can hang out with each other now besides skating.

Y/C: Alright bet. Ready to go.

Reid: Hell yeah.

We raced every chance we got and made it to the store. 

Reid: Alright...sooo... what do we need?

Y/C: Spoons, cleaning supplies, lots of soup, new house locks, window locks, cookies, and orange juice.

Reid: Bet. You get the cleaning supplies and the locks. I'll get the soup, cookies, and orange juice. We will meet at the spoons.

Y/C: Sounds like a plan.

After getting everything and meeting at the spoons. We went up and bought everything. We rode back up to my house.

Reid: Hey, you should take a sec. I'll make you soup and I got the locks.

Y/C: No, no, no it's alright I got it.

Reid sat me on the couch.

Reid: Don't move Buttercup.

I sat on the couch waiting for him we ate soup together and then he cuddled me. I felt so safe in his arms. I ended up falling asleep. I woke up to find Reid not with me anymore. I felt a little sad but then I realized the house was clean. The cabinets went from being empty to being filled with food and treats. I heard a knock at the door to see Reid, my family, and the whole friend group except Matt. 

Y/C: Hey, what are you guys doing here.

Indica: We came to hang out.

Y/C: Alright I guess come in?

Everyone flooded in. I pulled Reid to the side. 

Y/C: You didn't have to do any of this.

Reid: I know.

Y/C: Then why did you?

Reid: Because I felt like it.

Y/C: Mhm... you are strange you know that...but not a bad strange.

Reid: Alright "laughs" come on let's enjoy this a little bit.

Reid pulled me into the little dance circle after a few hours of dancing, we ate food and watched movies with blankets. I look over and see Indica cuddling Cole I turn to Alex and Reid and whispered.

Y/C: Gross couple stuff.

Alex and Reid tried to hide their laughter.  After the first movie My siblings and my mom headed to bed. 

Mom: Your friends can spend the night. If you want to of course.

I looked over at everyone and they were on their phones telling their parents. We turned on a scary movie and got huddled together. Indica jumped and Cole laughed at her. Indica hit his back and we all laughed. Cole then grabbed Indica by her neck and kissed her. We all looked away.

Y/C: You know my room is right upstairs.

Reid and Alex laughed. Cole grabbed Indica's hand and they walked up stairs. Alex, Reid, and I got close together and continued to watch the movie. I jumped and pushed my face into Reid's shoulder. I turned away in embarrassment and started to watch the movie some more. We eventually fell asleep.
