Chapter 4

Eliana POV

I'm not a fighter. Never had been. When you grow up with two parents who hate fighting and believe peace and compromise works the best. You kind of tend to not like fighting either. Forest obviously had some training since he was the total opposite he likes fighting, he thinks it can keep us safe. That's why he's at the school for specialists and I'm at Alfea so I can learn how to use my powers. Plus it beats learning the rules of the castle, since I'm older than Forest by a minute I inherit the kingdom and I kind of don't want to worry about that until I come of age which isn't for a few years.

But now its all different because the whole magic kingdom is in trouble and Ms. Faragonda thinks we can save it. I just wonder if she has too much faith in us, because of our parents. What if we aren't good enough. I know I shouldn't think that because I know the girls have faith and think we can do it but I honestly don't know. Maybe I could use a distraction from all of this. I did notice this one boy with pink hair and a cute dorkish smile. I think they said his name was Leo. I have some memory as a little kid of a boy like that but it was from when I was 5. My parents did say we knew their friends when we were kids but I guess I forgot all about them. I would go talk to him but he looks preoccupied with some little tecno gadget. "El, you've been eyeing Leo for a while, why don't you go talk to him. Trust me he doesn't bite." Forest said as he approached me. It's like he knew what I was thinking at all times. It could be a twin thing, maybe I should ask Harmony and Lyra.

As much as I wanted to ignore my brother I knew he was right and I should go talk to hmi. I Mean what could go wrong. "Hey, Leo," I say as I approach the nerdy young guy. "Umm, hi Eliana," he said. I could tell he was nervous maybe this was a bad idea. "You can call me El it's so much easier," I say trying to break the ice. He stays quiet and just flashes me  a little smile. "So what ya working on," I say trying to make it a little awkward. "Nothing much, just new hardware for the bikes. It will help them go faster," he tells me. "That's so neat, I wish I could do something like that but, I'm more of a nature girl," I tell him. I could tell he was easing up at this point. But right before we got anywhere... "Girls and boys it's time to start training," The headmaster of the red fountain told us. "Talk later," Leo says with a little smile. "Yeah of course," I say as I head to the door with the rest of the girls.

Lyra POV

Finally. I thought to myself. Training is where I feel the best. It's where I don't have to worry about anything. As long as Ellison doesn't do that little look at me that makes me want to go kiss her out of nowhere. I swear she does crazy things to me

We had been training for a few hours and honestly I could tell all the girls were exhausted. The only two left standing were me and Kade. Ugh how much I wish to just knock him out. "So little fairy, why haven't you transformed," he asked me. I was the only one that hadn't transformed yet. "Well I don't need my powers to beat you," I tell him, getting more and more aggravated. "We'll see in a minute," he says to me. That's when I launched, I grabbed my pen from my pocket and released it. "Aww did you steal that from your daddy," he said. That's when I attacked. Of course he had a counter attack but that didn't do anything as I fought right back. .It went on for a few minutes until my stupid little sister came in between us. "Harmony, watch out so I can teach this dick a lesson," I say, still fighting back. "Lyra you know this is no one to deal with your anger," she protested. "Aww your sister came to save you," Kade said letting another blow come. "I don't need anyone to save me," I yell. "Kade stop it, you don't want her to get angry," Harmony said, trying to protect him. "Why," Kade asked stupidly. "Because this," I said, sending one super sonic line to him which blasted him off to the side. "I tried to warn him," Harmony said as she let out a laugh. We all busted out laughing. "Ok girls I think that's enough training for the day," the headmaster said.
