Chapter Two- Barry

Queen consolidated is broken into and Oliver, Felicity and Diggle go there to see what's going on.

"Excuse me officer, im Oliver Queen i own this building and would like to know what happened here?" Oliver explained.

"Mr Queen you were broke into by at least 3 or 4 men we think." The office said.

From the shadows someone says, "actually it was only one guy." The person walks forward. "I'm Barry Allen. Forensic expert from central city." Barry uttered.

"Aren't you a bit young to be working for the police. Plus whats a break-in in Starling got you down here for?" Oliver said intrigued.

"Trust me i'm old enough, and there has been some similar cases to this break-in in Central City." Barry protested.

Barry extrapolates a logical, but unbelievable explanation about the thief being superpowered by merely looking at the crime scene.

Felicity invited Barry to Queen Consolidated because she realized Barry knew more about the case than they did and enlisted his help, telling Barry that Oliver wanted to keep the investigation in-house.

At the scene of the crime, Barry is gathering evidence with Felicity. Barry keeps on talking about the Arrow. He's fascinated by him and wants to know everything Felicity knows. Felicity pretends to not know anything, but wants to know why Barry is fascinated by the vigilante. He tells Felicity that his mother was murdered when he was young and the killer was never caught. Felicity and Barry discover that the bad guy may have come from an area near a sugar factory and tell Oliver. They then hear news that the bad guy has just stolen a bunch of blood from a blood bank. Oliver goes to investigate, but Digg knows that Oliver knows more than he is letting on and Digg is concerned.

Arrow manages to chase down the bad guy, who is wearing a black mask and driving a sugar refinery truck. Arrow punches the man three times in the face, but it does not affect him. The bad guy hits Arrow once and immediately knocks him off balance. The bad guy gets away because the Arrow was no match for him. However Oliver did manage to get some of the man's blood on the tip of his arrow.

At the Arrow hideout, Oliver tells Digg and Felicity what he knows about all this.

"I've seen people with super strength like this before, on the Island. There was a serum discovered in the abandoned Japanese sub and it made the people who took it super strong. But, it also killed many of them. I thought i destroyed all evidence of the serum when i was on the island. They probably want to use the centrifuge and the supply of blood to make more super soldiers. Felicity examine the blood i got from the fight with Brother Cyrus earlier tonight." Oliver explains. Felicity test's the blood and discovers the super-strong guy committing the crimes is Brother Cyrus, and was given his strength by Brother Blood.

While Felicity and Barry are examining the blood, Felicity invites him to a Queen family party as her plus one. Oliver notices Felicity exhibiting signs of attraction towards Barry.

So Oliver gets Digg to look into Barry and discover his story is not true. He is not an actual CSI investigator, he's just an assistant and there's not a similar case in Central City.

"So, why is Barry here?" Oliver questions

Oliver questions Barry in front of the team.

"Olivers right, this is to do with my mother's murder. The crime was pinned on my father, who is now serving a life sentence for the crime. I saw my mother killed by someone who was super fast, a blur. No one believed me so the cops figured my father committed the crime. I now look into any case involving someone with apparent super-human abilities to see if it is connected to my mother's murder so i can help free my father. I'm sorry I lied to you Oliver."

Barry turned to look at Felicity with sorrow in his eyes. "sorry." Barry says, then leaves as quick as his legs would let him.

Felicity becomes angry at Oliver for embarrassing Barry like that and storms out of the arrow cave. Oliver feels bad for upsetting Felicity so to make it up to her he reinviting Barry to the party. Felicity is ecstatic that Barry is there and forgives Oliver.

Later that night Barry and Felicity share a dance which Oliver becomes jealous of.

"if stares could kill, Barry would be six feet under right now." Digg says humorously to Oliver.

Oliver gave Digg the same stare and walked off in the opposite direction of Felicity and Barry, while Diggle giggles at his actions.

Barry gets a call from his Central City office who are angry he is out of town and want him to catch the next train home immediately! Felicity is visibly disappointed that they have to say goodbye. He and Felicity share a moment, but do not kiss.

After the goodbyes Felicity proceeds to the Arrowcave to direct Oliver to the thief's next target, only for the thief to overpower Oliver again and knock him into a pile of unknown drugs. Felicity and John come to Oliver's rescue, and when she is unable to discover what Oliver was poisoned with, John decides to call 911, despite Oliver being in full vigilante garb. Felicity stops him from making the call, instead asking John to abduct Barry at the train station to ask for his help in saving Oliver, luckily, Barry has not caught his train out of town yet. Digg takes Barry to Oliver at the Arrow hideout.

"Please save my friend." Felicity begs Barry.
