And so there sat three very awkward people and one excited dog.

"Okay so," Chunhei began, turning to face her best friend.

"Did you know he was your soulmate?" She questioned and Jiyeon gave a guilty smile.

"Surprise?" Was all she said and Chunhei rolled her eyes.

"How long?" She questioned and Jiyeon simply shrugged.

"Two days." Jaemin answered and Chunhei faced him now.

"So then why the hell aren't you doing something?!" Chunhei exclaimed, already impatient with their progress as soulmates.

"Truth be told, I wanted to try and get to know her and talk about this entire thing. She just kind of beckoned me off." Jaemin replied with an unbothered tone as he stroked Buddy's fur who laid between him and Jiyeon.

"I- Im not even gonna bother asking you why you did that." Chunhei said as she pointed to Jiyeon who pursed her lips, thankful that she wasn't going to expose her reasoning for acting in such a way.

"Now, you two need to talk." She said and Jiyeon stood up.

"I think that's enough talking. This conversation was useless." Jiyeon said and Chunhei was about to argue back until Jaemin suddenly grabbed Jiyeon's wrist and practically forced her to sit back down.

"I don't know where the fuck yo i think you're going but I am not getting blown off again." He said and Jiyeon scowled at him.

"I'm have plans. Let me go." She said and yanked her arm back and was about to stand up again until Chunhei stepped in front of the girl, preventing her from doing so.

"You have zero plans and I am not letting you leave. Knowing you, you'd probably just never return." Chunhei said and Jiyeon rolled her eyes, slightly hating how well her best friend knew her.

"Let me go at least get that fucking dog bowl." Jiyeon said, anger and annoyance evident in her voice.

In response, Chunhei shook her head. "I'll go get it. I dont trust you and you two need to talk without me." She said and left the place, making sure to take her time to give them as much time together as she could.

"This shit is so useless." She muttered as she crossed her arms and let herself sink into the couch.

"Why are you so against this?" Jaemin asked, feeling his heart hurt a bit at how much she clearly hated the fact that she had a soulmate.

Jiyeon simply scoffed out a laugh at him, clearly finding him as the an innocent and sweet baby like person. She had to admit, she did in fact find it adorable but there was no way she was letting his looks break her.

"It doesn't matter. At least not to you." She said and stood up.

Jaemin was ready to grab her wrist again but she pulled it towards her in time.

"I'm not leaving. Chunhei would beat my ass if I did. I just don't wanna sit next to you." She said and at that point, Jaemin sure as hell felt hurt.

As much as she didn't wanna admit it, Jiyeon was hurting herself too. She knew he was kind and adorable and possibly everything a girl could ever need. If it weren't for him, then maybe she wouldn't have been so against soulmates but he ruined every perception of "perfect" for her.

"Can you at least explain to me why?" Jaemin asked, eyes glimmering slightly from the twinge in his heart he felt. Jiyeon felt guilt rushing inside of her but she had to continue putting on her bitchy front. It was- well- a bitchy thing to do but she wasn't ready in the slightest.
