Sei was in her dorm, brooding about her previous mistakes.
"God, what do I do?" She knew very well that's she wasn't allowed to transform, but she had to. So she decided to just sleep it off, and hope they'll forget about it tomorrow. Besides, transforming makes her remember something she wants to just forget about.

*flashback*

An 8 year old, seeing Sei suddenly wakes up from her nap to hear her family's security go off. She though it was just a drill for the security guards, so she put in her headphones to block out the annoying ringing, and tried to rest. But Sei found out it wasn't a drill when she heard an stomach churning, ear piercing scream coming from her parents room. Her 11 year old brother, Masami, bursts into her room, and tells her to get out. He was in his crystallized form, with danburite dragon wings, silver eyes with his pupils looking like slits, as if he was a dragon. His arms were replaced with metal claws, like that of a chimera. "Masami, why," Sei asked, now nervous. "This is just a drill, right?" Masami shook his head. "No. This isn't a drill. Now hurry up, do you want to die?!" Her brother yelled, and she could hear the impatience in his voice that almost made her cry. So Sei quickly followed her brother's back, which was covered in blood. The alarm kept blaring, and suddenly, Sei saw the most traumatic thing in her life. An iridium bullet went through her brother's skull, and he fell to the ground. "MASAMI!!!!" Sei yelled as her only family member collapsed. Just as he fell, a silhouette of a man cackled in the darkness. "Pfft, worthless. I didn't even break a sweat!" Those were his last words until he disappeared without a single lead. The 8 year old quickly ran to her dying brother. "Don't worry Masami, you won't die, I promise on my life and soul!!" Masami smiled and replied, "Sorry Sei..., this is where I end. But before I go, here." Her dying brother put his metal hand on his chest and stabbed himself into his torso. Blood splattered everywhere, leaving a small speck of blue blood on her cheek, and dripped down her face, just like her tears. He took out a silver, fiery ball, or in other words, his soul and power. "Go on, take it," Masami said weakly, as a shaky Sei tried to grab it without crying. The soul immediately became one with her body, Sei transformed, half danburite, half amethyst. She ran away, hoping to find someone to take care of her. She then found the Shirane family, who gladly attended to her wounds. What really shocked the Shirane doctors and nurses was that she had beautiful purple and silver eyes, but she couldn't see through any of them. They were so beautiful, they were literally in a trance, and had hallucinations for days. So, they decided to cover them, and hoped that no one will know of her beautiful orbs.
