David packed his backpack with the stuffs he had on the table and he was the fastest who left the classroom as the bell ringed. Something unexplainable pushed him to make his steps faster as he got more far from the school building.
“David!” he heard his name in a well known voice. He stopped immediately and turned back to his friend.
“What's that urgent?” the red haired guy asked as he slowly got near him. David just shook his head and they continued the way together.
“You seem really sick today. Is everything ok?” the red guy asked again as he turned his freckled face to David.
“Nothing special. It's just another regular day, Josh...” David combed his deep black hair back on his forehead and tried to fake a smile.
“Wait...it's that day again, isn't it?” Josh stopped his steps and watched David with a straight face.
“You know me too well it's scary” David sighed and slowly bent his head down. “I know that noone believes me but I'm not crazy. Not a clinical case. I know what I saw...”
“You really take dreams too seriously. Just because your mother told you stories about it, it's not becoming true...”
“You're my friend, Josh. At least do me a favor and give me some trust. You don't have to believe in what I do but don't make me seem like a fool.”
“Ok ok, don't rip off my face please!” Josh raised his hands in the air and gave it up.
“Now if you excuse me... I have things to do...” David said and he left as fast as he could.

He was sitting on the rocks at the beach and watched the waves of the ocean. He imagined how he'll see that uncommon thing again. Some moths ago he was sitting on the exact same place and watched the sunset when suddenly the sunlight disappeared into the ocean and he saw a human like figure raising out of the water and collected something from the sand. It was only a few minutes, maybe only seconds and the figure slowly returned into the waves and disappeared from his eyes.
Everyone David told about this to thought that he's gone insane and never believed him.
Of course they didn't. Who would believe such a story if they don't see it with their own eyes?! David understood them but he was extremely disappointed in his friends at the same time. He never lied to them and he wasn't crazy enough to find out things like that.

So he waited. He wanted to have proofs, he wanted to see that figure again. He knew it was real and it may come back again. He just have to wait.
As the sunlight slowly left and the sky started to turn gray, the waves became a bit stronger and reached more far in the sand at David legs. He felt it might be the time when everything will turn out.
The wind stopped and the air became chill in a blink. And he saw again... The figure slowly raised out of the ocean again.
He looked around but no one was near. David slowly stood up and started getting closer to the silhouette who just reached the sand and bent down to the ground to look for something. David knew it's his last time to know what the heck is going on. His legs started to move on their own and he suddenly jumped on the figure. He pushed it in the sand and as his blood pressure went down he could finally see its face.
It wasn't what he expected. He thought it's a sea monster, an ugly creature that is disgusting to look at but what he saw was nothing like that.
In the sand laid the most handsome man he had ever seen in his life. Light blonde, almost white wet hair. His face looked like it was made in heaven by angels. The scared ice blue eyes stared directly into his soul through his eyes.
“Sorry...” David started and hoped that the stranger would understand his words. “I don't want to hurt you. I'm just extremely curious. I saw you a while ago and I was waiting for this moment since then...” he started to explain his reasoning behind the actions but the stranger just pushed him away and stood up. That was the moment when David realized that this man is fully naked and now strands in front of him. He blushed but he couldn't turn his head away.
“Who are you?” the man asked and seemed like he's not scared anymore.
“David. David Stewart...”
“But you're just a human... How come you are able to see me?” the guy started to be frustrated and confused. David also was. Isn't this beautiful creature a human? It's surprising and not at the same time. He was too nice to be one of them...
“But...why can't I? Who are you? Well...what are you?”
