2 weeks later: I've been going through postpartum depression I love my daughter with everything in me but sometimes it gets hard especially since Melo is always gone because of basketball, sometimes I can be just feeding her and will start crying I've been having breakdowns out of nowhere and it's a lot.
(Phone rings)
Me: Hello
Melo: Hey babe how you feel?
Me: Hi baby and good
I was trying to hide the fact I was always having a small breakdown
Melo: That's good where is Indya?
Me: She's laying down sleep
Melo: oh okay I miss y'all so much
Me: (starts to cry out of nowhere) Yea we miss you too
Melo: Baby what's wrong?
Me: Nothing it's nothing I'm fine
Melo: No something is wrong what is it?
Me: ...... I've been having breakdowns baby this motherhood thing is all just so new to me, what if I'm not a good enough mom?
Melo: Baby why haven't you told me about your breakdowns? And don't do that you are going to be the best mother.
Me: I don't know I just didn't want you to stress, and you think so?
Melo: baby I love you more than anything and I don't think I know.
Me: I love you too baby thank you
Melo: I'll be home tomorrow
Me: Really?
Melo: yes I can't wait to see y'all
Me: we can't wait to see you
Melo: baby I got to go but I love y'all give Babygirl a kiss for me
Me: okay love you more
After we got off the phone I went and got Indya and gave her a kiss
Indya: (Makes baby noises)
Me: I love you babygirl
