"Ow! Sapnap you bitch, leave me alone!" shouted George while Sapnap was hitting him laughing.

"Can you guys knock it off? We're supposed to be getting wood for the house," dream said annoyed but was secretly smiling at how annoyed George got so quickly.

"Ok I guess i'll leave your boyfriend alone then" Sapnap said as he laughed, already running to avoid being hit by George. The three got to work and managed to collect enough wood for a decent sized house as the sun was starting to go down. They headed over to a nice level spot in the ground to start building their house when suddenly George gasped.

"We should build a cute little cottage! We can get flowers and vines in the morning to go on the walls too!" George exclaimed excitedly.

"George, we're not cottagecore lesbians" Sapnap said sarcastically, laughing at George's excitement.

"No we're obviously not, but I like that idea, I think it's cute" remarked Dream.

"Of course you do. Should I build a granny flat on the side so you two can live your lesbian fantasy?" giggled Sapnap.

"Keep it up and you can sleep in a cave. Can you actually make yourself useful and catch some fish or something? Dream responded trying to be serious, but a grin was creeping onto his face. Sapnap sighed and left the two to build the house.

Sapnap walked to a nearby lake with his fishing rod thinking about how hopeless those two were. They were both painfully oblivious to the other persons feelings, one was always staring at the other while their head was turned. He turned around to see them laughing with each other while building the walls of the cottage. "Simps" he muttered before he reached the edge of the lake and started fishing.

"I will do the roof, I can reach!" George protested already making a stairs to get on top of the wall.

"George you idiot get down, you're going to fall!" Dream said, laughing at George as he clung onto the wall.

"I'm not going to fall!" George said as he fell sideways off the wall. Dream quickly strode over and caught George in his arms, holding him like a baby.

At that moment Sapnap walked through the door "Alright I got plenty of food, some wool an- uhhh I can come back"

George quickly snapped out of his trance and shouted "NO-no Sapnap I fell he just caught me thats all"

"Sure thing. So Dream are you going to let him down anytime soon or?" Sapnap laughed as Dream quickly but gently put him down looking bashful. It was funny how George was the only person that could get a reaction like that out of Dream. "Anyway, you guys finish the roof and i'll make some beds and chests. Also please come out of the lovey dovey stare guys we don't need anymore 'falling'". Sapnap said as he smirked and walked to the other side of the cottage.

They finished the house and some furniture so they decided to cook some fish in the furnace. They were splitting up the last fish when they heard a small, frightened sound. George immediately stood up and grabbed his sword, slowly opening the door. He exited and peeped around looking for the source of the sound, but couldn't seem to find anything. He was about to turn around, assuming it was a mob when he heard it again in some leaves nearby. He slowly walked over and parted the leaves to see a small black kitten with green eyes peering up at him.

"What is it George?" Dream asked coming up behind George.

"Look! It's a kitten. Dream we have to keep it" George pleaded, looking sadly at Dream. Dream could not say no to that face.

"George, It's cute but.... we're trying to get out of here, it's way too dangerous to bring a kitten."

"But Dream... please. I'll take care of it myself. It won't be harmed I promise". George's face was so desperate that Dream had to give in.

"Alright take it inside. Also find out if it's a boy or a girl so we can name it",Dream sighed.

"Oh, so we have a cat now?" Sapnap questioned as George and Dream came back into the cottage.

"Uh yeah, George found him and we just couldn't leave him there. I mean look at his cute little face."

"The cats or George's?" Sapnap laughed.

"Ge- THE CAT! The cat! Why would you even say that!? Oh my god you confused me Sapnap you bitch."

George was blushing, obviously. Dream was beyond flustered and went to go feed the cat.

"Idiots" Sapnap muttered, smirking at the drama he loved to cause.

George had made his way over to help Dream with the kitten, carefully picking it up. Dream quickly placed his right hand under George's hands, using his free hand to feed the kitten. They were so caught in the moment they didn't even realise how close they were.

"Have we got any spare wool, we could put the cat on it for the night?" Dream asked, already searching the chests.

"Yeah i've got some here," Sapnap said handing Dream a bundle of white wool.

Dream carefully placed the wool down in the middle of the room before taking the kitten and placing him in the wool. The kitten immediately fell asleep.

They safely put any items leftover in chests and started to get ready for bed.

"Why are the beds so close?" George asked, being paranoid as usual.

"I just put them there so I could adjust the furniture, calm down and move them over. Anyway do you not want to snuggle with the homies?" said Sapnap, already knowing George would freak out.

"No I don't thank you very much" George said as he struggled to move the bed.

"Let me" Dream said, picking up George's bed with ease and placing it over by the window. "There you go princess"

"DREAM! Don't you start too. I'm going asleep now." There was silence before he shouted "NIGHT"

Dream and Sapnap laughed before saying goodnight and sleeping too.
