I was watching some anime when I heard the door opened and closed. That must be mom. I said to myself. I looked at the time. 7:59pm. To be honest I wish we had a helper sometimes. I mean mom is super busy now with all the recognition of her baking, everyone wants her stuff. I feel a lot more late nights and more travelling coming.

"Hey baby" she looked exhausted. She placed the stuff she was carrying on the counter.

"Hey mom" she came to me and dropped herself on the couch. "Should I run you a hot bath? You look exhausted and ready to die if you ask me" she chuckled and nodded.

"I'd really love that Tamara thank you. Is Ty home?" I nodded and stood up. I realised something then sat down again.

"Mom before the bath can I ask you something?"

"Sure baby" I cleared my throat.

"Mom can we get a helper? It's just that you're becoming more and more busier you know and sometimes I feel uncomfortable leaving Ty by himself even when he says he's okay whereas if there was one, I'd not worry a whole lot." She nodded.

"I'm glad you see that too sweety. I was also thinking about it but I wasn't sure if you guys will be keen to that." I nodded in understanding. "I'll have her here first thing in the morning okay? There is a really good agency that provides good people, I have a friend there so I trust her to give us a someone that won't turn out to be a danger to us." I smiled.

"Great then. Oh and mom I also have something else to ask you." She nodded "can I go to Hawaii with some friends?" She looked at me shocked

"Tamara Hawaii?" Uh oh I wasn't expecting this reaction.

"Yes mom Hawaii." She sighed.

"How much is the trip you're planning on going with Jasper?" I giggled

"Mom relax I'm going with Darin. He asked me to come with him and his friends. It's an all expenses paid trip" she looked confused.

"His name sounds familiar, do I know him?" I nodded.

"I once told you about him and his parents are millionaires so you probably know them. The Kalanicks." She gasped.

"Sweety you're dating that cute boy?" Even mom thinks he's cute?

"We-we're not dating mom. we a-are f-friends. Just friends." friends that kiss I thought. She giggled a little.

"Well I think you're lying to me but I also know the Kalanicks are good people. They own one of the restaurants I work with so I've met the mom, Gabriela once. She's a nice woman." Oh that's even better. "How long is this trip baby?"

"Apparently two weeks" Darin told me before he left. He also texted me the date. "And we're leaving in a week."

"What? I guess we really do need the helper. I'll have someone before you leave. Call Ty for me on your way to my room please" I kissed her cheek and stood up.

"Thanks mom" I ran upstairs and told Tyler mom wants to see him.

Okay now I need to tell the lovebirds. I am looking forward to this trip now, to be honest I'm super excited.

My alarm went off. I groaned and turned it off. I sighed softly and woke up. I went to the bathroom and took a quick shower. I brushed my teeth then changed to brown high waisted loose shorts and a white long sleeve crop top.

I ran quietly downstairs and straight to the kitchen. I put on a black aprone and started making breakfast. Mom loves an English breakfast so today she was going to get that.
