A small smokey-gray cat awoke from his den. The crisp morning air of New-leaf was filled with scents of prey. He stretched his back legs and padded over to the opening of the rocky clearing. He thought he should go out and hunt.

He had found the scent of a fresh, plump mouse. He had found it almost immediately after leaving. New-leaf will bring tons of new stuff

He heard footsteps, and a large grey she-cat came out of the brambles. "Plumekit, you're not supposed to be out here!" She snapped.
Plumekit shrank and flattened his ears flat against his head.
"Oh, don't be like that!" She purred. "Anyways, Plumekit, it's time!"
Right, yes, Plumekit thought, it's time.
