Jimin One Shot - Autumn Leaves

It was autumn. The wind scurrying through the rustling leaves made a wonderful melody. Y/N smelled the scent of the rain that she/he loved so much. Many brightly coloured leaves fell from the trees. Each one looked so different, but was very special to you. Y/N knew exactly why she/he loved autumn - 'cause she/he met Jimin in Fall. It was in kindergarten when you were all supposed to look for a chestnut leaf and you didn't know what it looked like and he helped you. That was the beginning of a wonderful friendship that now last for so many years.

Now Y/N sat on a bench in a little park and waited for Jimin. She/he was thinking about his adorable smile and his goofiness that Y/N like so much about him. *Ugggh this damn smile* Y/N thought and tried to shook away the thoughts of her/his best friend. For some long time now she/he had that feeling...that Jimin wasn't just a best friend. Quite the opposite! She/he knew exactly that there were some stronger feelings. Which would be impossible because you two were inseparable and Y/N didn't wanted to destroy that bond.

Y/N shook her/his head...*no no no, just think about something else* she/he breathed out. From a short distance you heard your name, so you turned around just to see Jimin who came towards you. He had something hidden behind his back and Y/N looked curious. "Hey what is it?" Y/N asked and tilted her/his head. "We're going to fly kites now" Jimin smiled. *Why does he have to smile like this again. It was killing Y/N*. He took the kites out from behind his back. Y/N was still confused but just nodded her/his head slightly. "Oh come on, it'll be fun!" and Jimin dragged her/him away.

Y/N had to laugh the whole time and she/he had the time of her/his life. As always, it was the greatest feeling you had in this world. Just spending time together with him is what you needed. You suddenly had the urge to run away again from him...just like you always did. Y/N loved the way he tried to catch her/him and hugging her/him from behind. It was just the feeling of being safe in his arms and home. Sometimes Jimin even spun her/him around in the air. Your friends always asked why you two weren't together. That always gave Y/N a queasy feeling in her/his stomach.

And as Y/N just knew...Jimin ran after her/him. So you ran faster and faster and hid behind behind a tree, waiting for Jimin to find you. You tried to hide your laughter as well and put your hands on your mouth. With an unexpected jerk you fell on the ground and lay next to him on the ground. Jimin grinned at you and Y/N's heart was beating. She/he was afraid that he could hear it. *This day couldn't be more perfect* Y/N thought.

Trapped in your thoughts, you didn't even notice how close Jimin was to you all of a sudden. Y/N tried to catch her/his breath. Without any hestitation Jimin placed a soft kiss on your lips. You were shocked for a moment but smiled in the kiss and felt more than happiness. He looked you in the eyes and said the words you had been hoping to hear for so so long "I love you Y/N!".
