Chapter 11

(Y/N)'s pov:

     About fifteen minutes after breakfast, I was back in the smaller tub. Pufferfish and I were trundling down a road and I was trying to give him directions over his continuous shouting. I wonder how his throat hasn't given out yet?
     "You just need to turn left," I yelled at him. "Then you keep going till you can't."
      He begrudgingly complied, finally settling down from yelling to growling to himself. I turned to look out the window. It was a beautiful scene. Just outside of the city the roads were shaded by trees, tunnels of which grew over nearly every road. Pufferfish's car bumped over the dirt and gravel as the forest continued to swallow us.
     " So how much farther?" I was shaken from my daydreaming by the rough question.
     "Eh, shouldn't be that much farther. There's a bit of a walk to get to the cave but you can drive most of the way there," I replied, shrugging and returning my gaze to the trees.
     "Tch," Bakugou scowled. "And I assume you expect me to carry your ass all the way there?"
      "How else will I get there?" I deadpanned.
     He was silent again. Then he scowled and gripped the wheel tighter than before. I could almost image his brain sending off little explosions as he tried to keep himself calm. My thoughts turned to the witch. Mother had said that he was a wonderful person, if a bit odd. A penchent for poetry and the dark if I remembered properly. I was unceremoniously jerked out of my thoughts by Pufferfish slamming on the breaks.
     "We're here dumbass," he said, already getting out.
     "Thank you, captain obvious," I grumbled, pulling a towel over so I wouldn't splash water everywhere. I was rather annoyed when I did anyways.
