A story of one great sacrifice without expecting of anything in return.
One afternoon. A stranger sitting besides a young boy looked up in the sky turning to see the beautiful setting of the sun.
The boy asked him..
"Hey, old man do you ever have regrets in life?"
Tears fell down from the old man's eyes.. Then he replied
"No, I don't have any regrets in life" and he smiled :)
"Wow that's cool"
"Look's like everything in your life turns out to be a wonderful decision" added by the little boy
The old man tapped the young boy's shoulder. And said ..
"I've spent 15 years in jail.. Spending every moment there thinking of my son and wife"
"Really ? No regrets ?" the boy asked
"No it isn't, it could be the wisest decision I ever had" (while laughing) said the old man
The boy was puzzled.
"I work on a very far place... and left my family... To give them a good life"
"But unfortunately"
"I was accused of killing my co-workers, which I didn't... And I was sent to jail"
"But before it happened I transferred my bank accounts to my wife's name"
"To make sure that they will be having everything they will need while I'm gone"
"I never thought of telling my wife what happened to me because I already let go of her.. I want her to find someone, who will replace me ... someone who will take care of her .. and make her happy"
The boy was amazed with the old man's story, saying ..
"I want to be like you someday ^^"
"Just learn to love without expecting of any in return ..." the old man replied
"By the way how's your Mom?"
The boy replied ...
"She went to payphone to call my Dad"
"Hmmm... Okay ! that's good. Oh, I have to go now"
"Bye son :))"
Then he gave a paper rose and left as fast as he can. The boy turned his head into a far away distance and waved his hand.
"Wait there's my mom I'd like you to meet her " the boy replied
But the man seemed into a hurry...
The young boy told his mom what happened and showed the paper rose that was given to him . The Mom cried and whispered to his son.
"That guy is your real dad... he left us without any reason"
The boy shocked and said.
"No MOM ! There's a reason why he had to leave us, Mom"
The boy retell to his Mom what happened ...
"I didn't know that he was sent to jail. I blame him without knowing the reason why he shouldn't left us. I should thank him to all the sacrifices he had made for the sake of us" ...
And then they got home the boy looked up in the stars and said to himself ...
"I regret that I never had a chance to hug my real father in that beautiful sunset, I hope that we can see each other again, but now as father and son"
