"....... You can see why it's been No.1 on the charts for the past two weeks now -"

"Are you serious?!" I said while choking on my drink. "How am I at No.1?! And for the past two weeks!" I said still in disbelief, wide eyed and mouth opened.

Ring..... Ring....

'Oh it's mom' I thought as I answered my phone. "Hey mom-" "IZUKU MY BABY! I JUST SAW THE NEWS, CONGRATULATIONS!!! YOU FINALLY DID IT!" A high-pitched woman screamed down the phone excitedly. "Yeah I know, I can't believe it myself..." I replied when a thought struck my mind, "Wait mom, why are you even watching American news? And at work too?" " Because I wanted to hear your new song and see where you stood on the charts silly." She said in a loving voice. " Oh and I'm on a break." She muttered quickly but I still heard. Suddenly I heard distant voice in the back round of our call saying, "Hey Inko, your breaks over in a minute come on"     "O-ok just one second please. S-sorry Izuku but I've got to go now, there's dinner in the fridge. Bye bye now, love you hunny."  My mom stuttered before abruptly hanging up. I sigh from the weird phone call as I turned back to the TV to switch it back to Japan's news.

"..... Yakuza leader Kai Chisaki, villain name 'Overhall ', was arrested when many heroes raided his base with the help of the police and several U.A. students. He was performing experiments on their former leaders granddaughter, which resulted in the creation of a drug which can permanently or temporarily take away a persons quirk.... " The news anchor continued as I sat in acute observation, "...... In other news, the long awaited U.A. school festival is coming up; unfortunately...... due to recent events the school is on high alert and isn't allowing entry to people who don' t work or go to school there. They are very serious about this as they are already increasing security...." They droned on, I already knew though. Everyone was a little pissed about it but we understood why, with a student being kidnapped and the school being attacked by villains all within the span of less than a year,  they'd be crazy to keep it public!
