Chapter 24

I heard muffled voices speaking.
"I'm sorry Miss Daniels but I'm scared of waking her up, she'll kill me" I think I recognise that voice.

"What time is it?"

"Seven thirty" I opened my eyes really slowly.

"It's okay continue making breakfast I'll wake her up."

I shifted a little. I still wanted to sleep but if they want to wake me up then I have to. I rubbed my eyes a little then fully opened them. Mom was looking down at me.

"Good morning honey" I sat up and looked around. I slept in the living room again.

"Good morning mom" I stretched myself and looked for my phone.

"You fell asleep on the couch, I think you should start getting ready you're running late." I nodded and took my phone and went to my room.

I actually wasn't running late I was early. Darin was coming to pick me up at nine. I finished drying myself and went to sit in front of the mirror. I took my straightener and started ironing my curls. I ended up not doing it the other day. I took thirty minutes to finish doing that then did a bit of makeup to cover up the bags of not sleeping.

I went to look for what to wear. I didn't pick it out last night because I wanted to wear what I woke up feeling like wearing but right now I honestly just wanted to put on pyjamas and sleep. I'm still super sleepy.

I came back at four thirty from the beach. Even with the make up on sleep is still evident on my face. "Aghhh" I went to my closet and took out my black tight jeans and a white sweater. "What the hell are you doing Tamara these will be too tight to sleep in on the plane." Oh My God this is so irritating.

"Okay Tamara you can do this let's start again." I decided to look at some rompers I have. It's summer after all it's good to show some skin right? And I'll sleep good in this if I fall asleep it won't be uncomfortable. I picked out a loose floral romper.  "Good choice" I looked for some shoes and saw the beautiful orange with glitter gladiators that I recently bought with Jas. They would look so lovely with this romper. I put everything on I looked in the mirror and saw how beautiful I looked. I'm gonna drive Darin so crazy. Oh even better. I'm gonna drive MY boyfriend so crazy. I giggled at myself for thinking that.

I realised something was missing. The necklace. I took my jewellery box and smiled as I was greeted by the beauty herself when I opened it. I took it out and put it on. "Yes" I look stunning. It even goes really well with this bracelet mom bought for me. "Okay Tamara let's go" I looked at the time and it was eight thirty. I need to go eat breakfast now.

"Oh my! Honey you look stunning." I blushed at mom's compliment as I came down the stairs. Her eyes were glowing.

"Thanks mom" I dragged my suitcase to the door. I went to the table and they were still eating. Saturdays breakfast is usually after eight. I sat down and started eating.

"That necklace looks expensive Tamara it's beautiful." Nina said and that's when it finally caught mom's eye.

"She's right. I haven't seen you wear it baby did you buy it yesterday?" I shook my head as I was still chewing.

"Darin bought it for me. I just placed it in my jewelry box and forgot about it. I'm sorry I didn't show it to you mom"

"It's really beautiful I can't be mad at that." I giggled "when are you two finally going to be together look at how expensive his love for you is" Nina and I burst out laughing.

"Miss Daniels you're so funny" I agree.
"Am I lying?" She shrugged
"Well you don't have to wait any longer my dear mother" she looked at me smiling
"Finally she gets a boyfriend thank Goodness!" I expected that.
"She's never had one?" I shook my head no.
