Cara looked at me like a murderer looks at his victim before he kills them. I had the blue dress in one hand and my cell phone in the other, holding it tightly so she wouldn't make any sudden movements and it would fly off into her hands.- Call. Now. Her voice sounded almost thicker than mine and I took a deep breath, shaking my head and refusing to even unlock the phone.
- I have no courage Cara, I'll probably say some shit! I seem to be in a constant state of mental and physical problems near him. My voice shakes and I get a nervous twitch in my fingers, not to mention my mind that is weak. That doesn't happen to anyone else, just him! - I spoke in an exasperated tone as she snorted and I stopped talking loudly so that a group of students near us couldn't hear. - He won't accept. He will say a short and embarrassed "no" then he will hang up.
- How do you know if you don't even have the courage to try? - She pressed and I just started to ignore, turning to my mannequins and putting the dress on one of them calmly.
The studio had a part for each of the students with their proper mannequins and I hate to leave my fabrics here but we can't take them home to avoid making adjustments that will not be monitored. My teacher however would not care if I did, she always seems to be throwing herself at me and if I missed all classes and arrived only on the day of the show wearing a Calvin Klein outfit claiming to be mine she wouldn't care.
- Shall we go to the UAL campus cafeteria? Britany invited us both to try the new special moccha. - Cara said putting on her pair of sneakers and folding the skirt I had made yesterday for the look with Nick.
- Britany is a nice girl. I think you should get married. - I joked receiving a slap and seeing Cara with a red face in response.
I went to the teacher and gave my notebook with the notes of the adjustments that I had made today, maybe I even lost point because I was making so many adjustments on a date so close to the parade, but it was not getting bad. She just smiled the usual sweet way, praised me for the look post of the day on the website and said that Nick and I were doing a good job.
Cara and I found the guy talking to his boyfriend in one of the main halls and he smiled when he saw us, approaching his usual extravagant way.
- The most beautiful people at the university! - Nick shouted as if he could draw even more attention from whoever was walking by. Usually people already looked at Cara normally because she was beautiful and the best model of the course, they looked at me for having millions of subscribers on the channel, but Nick managed to attract even more attention.
- Your voice is beautiful Nicholas, but not when you're screaming. - Cara said laughing and he just ignored it, looking at the boyfriend who ignored our presence.
- See you later? - He asked and I looked away from the affection in public, fiddling with my thumb on my cell phone screen and thinking I should call Louis. Or not.
- Shall we try the new moccha, Nick? You keep company for the lonely guy here. - Cara said as we started walking through the giant halls to the LCF main entrance.
Nick was talking about how the first semester had been more stressful than this one and I was vaguely agreeing by looking at random places. He and Cara decided to talk about the advantages of being a homosexual as we crossed the LCF campus until we arrived at the UAL campus. As soon as we stepped into the huge food court, my eyes scanned the place for a shy bear.
- Harry will want the new moccha? Nick asked as Cara and I sat at a table right in the center of the square. I felt several looks on me, but my focus was on my own fingers and the disappointment of not seeing my little human around here.
