It was our 7th Year Anniversary and he asked me to go to this place that Im not familiar with. I wore this pink off-shoulder dress he sent me and asked me to wear and partnered it with my favorite sneaker I never wear. When I was all set, I kissed my mom and dad and went directly to my car. I hopped in and this beautiful bouquet of pink roses is waiting and sitting on the back seat. He never fails to surprise me. How can someone be this so consistent? Like what did I ever do to deserve all of these?
I started my car and left the house. He sent me the address of the place he wanted me to meet him so I pinned it in the map and start driving.
I was confused because when I arrived at the address he sent me, all I see was a two-story house with a swimming pool on the yard and a beautiful garden. He opened the door of my car before I can open it myself. He held my hand and gave me a bouquet of pink tulips. My favorite flower.
The gate opened like its some sort of automatic gates. We went inside while holding each others hand and he led me to the yard where there was a cute little set up table with 2 seats.
He pulled the chair and assisted me to sit.
I got this feeling that he was about to ask me to marry him but I didnt want to ruin the whole thing by asking him what was all of these is about so I do as I told. Then suddenly the 5 people came out from the back door of the house. There were 2 guys wearing chefs attire so I assumed they were the chefs he hired to cook for us that day. One was carrying a bottle of wine and the other one was pushing a cart with a covered plates on it. And then the 3 guys who were wearing a formal attire was carrying a cello, violin and a portable keyboard so I guess those were the guys who will play a background music.
As the chefs serving the food and the 3 guys started playing a music, he was asking me about my day like the usual question he asks. And when the chef was done Toby started cutting the steak and when he finished, he exchanged his plate to mine. He is really the sweetest.
After we ate, he greeted me Happy 7th Anniversary and he pulled a note on his pocket and started reading it.
The note says, My dearest Ash, you have been my partner in literally everything for the past 7 years and I am so grateful for that. You stick with me during my brightest and darkest days. You are my happiness and I cannot imagine living my life without you in it. I want you today, tomorrow and for the rest of my life. Thank you for being the best part of my life. I want to live in this house with you forever, clean the pool together, water the plants together and grow old together. Will you please grow old with me? Marry me?
I burst into tears. I ran towards him, hugged him tightly, kissed him intimately and told him "Yes, I will marry you".
And that was the happiest day of my life. We're finally married.
We moved into the house and we were living the happiest time of our life.
Thursday, I woke up at 4 am to cook for breakfast because we had to be at the hospital at 6 am. I cooked his favorite spicy omelet, hotdog, homemade corned beef, some bacon and I toasted bread. I prepared his coffee and finally when I was done, I went upstairs to wake him up. He was sound asleep so I gave him a tight hug and kissed him on his neck. I whispered in his ears to wake up already, time to have breakfast. He hugged me back and kissed me endlessly. We went downstairs few minutes later and had breakfast. We showered together and got dressed up after.
While we were on our way to the hospital. When suddenly,
Ashley. Finally, youre up it was my mom.
It was all just a dream?
