"Again." Mr. LaRusso told us. I looked across at Robby and brought my arms across my chest, him mirroring my actions. We slowly started to lower our arms, bringing them down to our sides. Bringing them up again, we started the moves. We started to move in sync with one another. I smiled the smallest bit. "Okay, now show me the wheel." Danial said rereferring to the brand new technique he's been teaching us for the past hour. I turned away from Robby, exhaling with each step I took. I brought my leg up to start the kick when Mr. LaRusso interrupted my focus. "Woah, no no no. You guys have to be perfectly in sync with one another. Other this technique doesn't work." He corrected us.

"Technique, this feels more like a dance." Robby and I both dropped our arms and I walked over to stand beside him.

"Yeah, at what point do we do the hokey-pokey and turn ourselves around." I joked, earing a smile from Sam and a small glare from Mr. LaRusso.

"Yeah, okay trust me. You both master this and no ones gonna mess with you." He insisted. "Again." My smiled dropped. We got back into position, starting when he told us to. I moved my body smoothly, bringing my one arm up.

"Left arm down Lydia, not up." I quickly made a mental note and switched arms. "No, no together, together. At the same time." He scolded.

"How are we suppose to do it at the same time if we can't see each other." Robby question motioning between him and I.

"You need to sense what your partners doing, even if you can't see them." Danial told us.

I sighed. "How exactly are we suppose to do that? The force?" I laughed at my Star Wars reference.

He looked down at the ground when a sound came from his phone. He pulled it out of his pocket, reading it quickly then speaking. "Look, I got to go help your mom with something." He turned towards Sam. "Just feel it, I'll be back as soon as I can. Alright, keep it up." He said before rushing off.

We got back into position to try again.

I walked into the car lot the next morning to see Sam working on the wheel technique. "Morning." She sounded happy.

"How can you have so much energy?" I asked rubbing my eye.
