Chapter 19: Painty Painty

I walked downstairs and started to look for Ash. I went into the living room and he was sitting watching Batman with Andy.

"You ready to go?" I said standing in front of Andy to block the TV.

"MOVE, IM MISSING THE SHOW!" He said pushing me out of the road. I fell on Ash's knee.

"Well hello there!" Ash said leaning down and kissing my forehead.

"Hey, you ready to go?" I said getting up.

"Yeah." He said getting up and walking to the door.

"Bye Andy" I said running out of the house and getting into Ash's car. Ash soon got into the car a little bit after me and we started to drive down the street.

"As you probably noticed Sammi and Ella have painted their part of the room, do you want to paint yours?"

"Yeah!" I said jumping up and down in the seat.

"What colour?"

"I don't really know. I noticed that one part was baby blue and the other was like a baby pink. I don't really want a colour like that. I was thinking like a blood red but I was also thinking keep the wall white but get some bright colours and splash it on the wall."

"Sounds cool. We can work it out when we get there." Ash said switching on the radio.

"So do you have to share a room or is it just the girls that share?"

"Ella and Sammi thought it would be fun if you guys shared a room with each other and no I don't have to share a room." I nodded. "But it is likely that Sammi will spend most of the time in Jinxx's room so you would probably just be sharing with Ella."

We pulled into the Ikea parking lot and we looked for a space to park the car. This place was pretty busy. When we finally found a space we got out and started walking towards the entrance. Ashley had to wear a hat and some sun shades to make him look less recognisable.

"So we need to get some paint and some stuff to make it look better, right?" He said as we walked towards the paint section.

"Yupp" I said as I started to skip to the paint section. Ashley joined in and we were getting so many strange looks but who cares. When we got there I stopped skipping and I looked at thee big colour chart.

"You like any of them?" He asked looking at some of the colours there were.

"I like that one, but I like that one too!" I said, firstly pointing turquoise colour and then pointing at a deep red colour.

"I like the red, but that is just my opinion."

"Yeah, I think I like that one too. I was thinking going for some black accessories for the other stuff in my room."

"Cool" Ashley said walking along to the woman at the paint desk. The woman got some of the red paint and we started to walked to the store until we came to curtains. The only thing that was separating our sections of the room were curtains. I walked across to these black curtains which had some like bits of red making the shape of a little flower. They were so nice.

"Im guessing you like them?" Ashley said from behind me. I turned to look at him. He was looking through some other curtains.

"Yeah. Do you know how big I would need them?"

"I don't know the size but when Sammi and Ella came to get theirs they got the biggest size and they needed to get 2 so get 2 of the biggest!" He said picking up to sets from the little pigeon hole with the same curtains. I picked up the can of paint and we started to look around again.

We soon got to the check out with Ashley and me holding piles of stuff. We set it all down on the belt and we put all the stuff in bags while the woman scanned it.

"That will be $134.82" The woman said. I went to take my purse out of my bag but then Ashley stopped me.

"I've got it" Ashley said taking money out of his back pocket.

"No. It is too much" I said trying to hand the money across to the woman but he stopped me again.

"No." He handed the woman the cash and she gave him back his change and the receipt. I picked up the bags and we started to walk back to his car. I put the stuff in thee trunk and we started to head back to the house.

"So..." I said trying to break the awkward silence.

"So.. How are you?" Ashley said turning onto the highway.

"Good, you?"

"I'm fine. Do you want to go out tonight?"

"Sure, as long as I don't get kidnapped at hospitalised again then that would be awesome!"

"Cool. We could leave about 7?"

"Sure." I said taking out my phone and started to play scribblenauts. I noticed Ashley looking at my phone to see what I was doing.

"Are you playing scribblenauts?" He said looking back at the road.

"Yupp!" I said.

"Okay then." We drove into the drive and we got out. I went to the trunk to get the stuff for my part of the room and we both headed upstairs to go decorate.

"Where is everyone? The house is quiet." I said as we walked up the stairs into my room.

"Well Sammi has a photo shoot with her band, The rest of the guys have a meeting with our tour manager and Ella also has a photo shoot." He said as we loaded out all the stuff onto the floor. We mover all the furniture away and we started to paint the walls.

When we had finished painting we decided to go downstairs and get a drink. We both got a monster each out of the fridge and we walked to the living room and started to watch a movie. We put on Dracula (original).

"Where are we going tonight?" I said as a break came on the TV.

"Secret!" He said. All of a sudden the rest of the guys burst through the door and sat in the living room with us.

"HEY GURL!" CC when he seen me. I just started laughing along with everyone else. He sat in between me and Ash.

"We are going to Warped!" Andy said as he sat on the sofa. He didn't sound very happy about it.

"Why you so sad about it?" I said as I put my feet across CC and Ash.

"I am happy its just I feel like shit." He said as he walked upstairs.

"I think he is ill" Jinxx said as he got up and walked upstairs after him. Me and CC sat and talked about random stuff like pugs and rainbows and even midgets riding horses. I went to talk to Ashley but then I noticed he was gone.

"Where did Ashley go?"

"I think he might have gone to his room." Jake said as he put his feet up.

"Okay. I'm away to go see him." I said getting up and walking upstairs. I didn't know who's room was who's so I just opened random ones.

The first room I opened had a white walls except one which was black and it had loads of Batman posters and had a sleeping Andy on the bed.

The next one I opened had plain white walls and it had some bits of paper with notes stuck to the wall. I noticed a violin on the bed so I just guessed that was Jinxx's room because I didn't know of the rest of them playing the violin.

I walked to another room and it had a sign on the wall that said CC's ROOM! I wasn't even going to open that one.

I then came to another room. I opened the door and noticed it had lyric sheets all over the floor and some crumpled up bits of paper on the ground around the bin. Then I noticed some drawings which looked like fan drawings of Ashley. I guessed this was his room but he wasn't here. I decided to go up to my room and see if he was there. I walked up the stairs and to my bit and I noticed the curtains had been put up. I opened it up and everything was in place. He had put the bedding covers on my bed and placed the pillows neatly he put the mini love heart lights up and the paintings on my wall. My room looked perfect! I looked at the time and it was 5:52pm. I decided to go get ready for me and Ash's date.
