As other children was raised into a loving family, she was raised in a stoic, business-like one. When other kids are allowed to do whatever there is they wanted to do in their childhood, she was raised and told to grow as a poised, lady-like child. Though, her caretaker made it possible for her to led a life that Utau herself wants. Even if it is kept as a secret from the rest of her family.
Transferring to Ouran however changed her view of life. Here, she finally learns the true value of friendship, trust and love from a group of weird, flamboyant people. And also where Utau was finally able to find the real person she is from an unlikely group of people.
The Ouran Host Club. 7 different people form different walks of life. The second Utau met them is probably the worst thing that ever happened to her. That was what she thought at first.
Though she wants to step out of her comfort circle, her past is still clinging onto her. Her family, her sister.
