Valt aoi and shu kurenai were best friends since they were little, and they never left each other for nothing in this world. At least they were what they thought until this disease appeared.
One Christmas night, valt aoi decided to go to shu's house to deliver his gift because he had been away for three days and hadn't delivered it before but as soon as he arrives at his friend's house he finds shu's parents crying and valt didn't understand why and solved question what happened
Valt found out that shu caught an unknown disease and she had no cure and the worst that disease affected the parts of shu, that is, as time passed, shu would lose the ability to walk, move his arms, listen and was even able to stay. blind what made valt even sadder
Valt also found out that shu only has one year to live because the disease was advanced so it wouldn't take long for shu to feel no more and when shu lost everything he would end up dying because each part losing is like losing a little bit of life what made valt fall to the ground and cry a lot for it
It ruined their Christmas and New Year's Eve, but after three weeks passed by the news, shu talks to Valt.
Shu - valt .... I know how it felt, I'm in it too, but now we can't do anything else

The first results came to appear on a day that shu and valt decided to run together with rantaro and wakiya everything was going well until shu suddenly fell to the ground and the others stopped and went to him thinking that only he had stumbled but shu said he wasn't feeling his legs which made his friends despair and he already thinks of the worst so they helped him to get up and took him to the hospital and as soon as they arrived they took him to do tests while the others were waiting in the waiting room
Valt - what if he lost the sense of his legs?
Rantaro - calm friend if he has lost we will still treat him as a friend and another we will think positive maybe nothing bad has happened

It didn't take long for the doctor to show up and the news the friends thought positive but after the doctor says what happened the two friends looked at Valt who fell on the floor, put his hands on his face and cried the two friends hugged him but that didn't help much valt he just wanted to end all this suffering
After 15 minutes the nurse was carrying shu in the wheelchair and as soon as valt saw him she ran to him still crying
Shu - why are you crying?
Valt - you're in a wheelchair ...
Shu - that's no reason to cry
