THE TWO TEENS WERENT ABLE TO STAY FOR VERY LONG AFTER IT TURNED DARK. Goodbyes were said just before they parted from y/n.
The boys walked in silence in the air of the night. Kirishima's mind was racing with thoughts. He wanted to know what happened to her.
Why was this girl in a hospital? Was she sick? Would she get better? All these questions but he felt guilty wanting to have them answered.
"Y'know you can just ask me if you want to dumbass." Bakugou said. He could tell what was going on with his friend because he felt shy way once before as well.
He looked over to Bakugou "So why is l/n in the hospital?"
Bakugou took a quick look and at then straight ahead to the street "She has fucking cancer." he said as he kicked a rock in their path.
Kirishima's eyes widened. He couldn't believe such a fun and lovely girl had such a sad sickness. Looking back on it she didn't look in the best shape.
The only thing that looked vibrant were her eyes. They sparkles whenever the two heros in training would tell her stories.
It seemed as though she could listen for hours on end. She cared for Bakugou, Kirishima knew that much. He could also tell she supports him.
"How long have you known her?" He asked the ash blond. He had his hands in his pockets getting ready to tell Kirishima what happened.
"I've known her longer than I've known shitty Deku. We never went anywhere without each other. Our old hags knew each other in high school and had us meet.
Later she meet the damn nerd but he wasn't on our level. She never was mean to the idiot but it was still fucking stupid. Anyway when we got into junior high we dated for a while..."
Kirishima's eyes widened. I thought he said they weren't dating?! He didn't know why but something in his chest hurt.
It was from his friend lying to him.
"I know what your thinking shitty hair, and we're not dating now. It was probably a three month thing but it felt weird. We broke that shit off and stayed friends. It made our friendship even better, we're closer now.
At the end of junior high we figured out she got sick... I remember how much I fucking sobbed, its a shitty feeling."
Bakugou hated the feeling of pain. When y/n got sick all he knew what that feeling, it's mostly why he took it out in Midoriya.
Emotion weren't ever his strong suit. He took them out with fighting and yelling. But never took it out on y/n.
He never had anyone to talk to about these feeling. Now that Kirishima wanted to know about her, he finally needed to spill it out.
"It was hard at first, because of the shitty disease we couldn't do the damn things we used to.
On Friday's we'd watch movie and play video games all fucking night. Piss off our parent and not tell them we're we went when we snuck out. She was a lot of fucking fun, and she still tries to be...
She doesn't usually have to stay in the hospital, but that damn dumbass got herself a fever. She had to stay there until it goes away. The shitty doctors need to make sure she doesn't get worse."
Kirishima could only watch as his friend spilled out words to him. He's never seen Bakugou so emotional.
Granted he wasn't crying but it was evident in his eyes. He really did care for this girl.
"I hate going back there and seeing how sick she is. I don't even fucking know if she'll survive!" Bakugou was now pulling at the roots of his hair.
The redhead stopped walking and put a hand on his shoulder. "Listen, I know I don't know l/n as well as you do but I feel you. It must really suck.
I want to get to know her just as much as you do. She seems cool, and I can already tell she's the manliest girl I know." a giant toothy smile appeared on his face.
"If she's pushed through two years of this then she's one strong girl. There's no doubt in my mind she'll stay that way."
The words just flowed right out of Kirishima's mouth. He knew the girl for two hours and felt like her knew her.
Not so much as her personality but the type of person she was...
A fighter.
Bakugou pushed Kirishima's hand off his shoulder and smirked "Thanks shitty hair. I fucking needed that. I've held these stupid ass feeling for a while now..."
He grabbed Kirishima's collar and said "And is you fucking tell a soul I'll personally throw you so hard into the ocean you won't be shark, you'll be eaten by one!"
He only laughed and agreed to his terms. He was put down and they walked back to the dorms in comfortable silence.
