THIS WAS ON KIRISHIMAS LIST ALL WEEK. He walked out of his room on the dorms and to the commons rooms.
Wearing a headband in his red hair that was spiked up, with a white shirt and grey sweatpants to match. Thinking because it was spring this would be the best option for clothing.
He soon saw his friends sitting on the couch watching TV and talking about random stuff. The one in particular he was looking for was completely ignoring the rest.
"Hey Bakugou, I was gonna go see l/n today. You wanna come?" He asked as he walked over to the group.
Bakugou glanced at him from the side "No go without me shitty hair." Kirishima gave him a weird look.
It was his friend wouldn't he want to see her? He pushed the thought aside from his head.
"l/n?! That sounds like a girls name~" Mina practically yelled catching the attention of the rest of their group.
Karminari smirked at him "Didn't know you had a girlfriend? Really suck I didn't get one before..."
"Don't get too ahead of yourself. If you're gonna date my best friend, you're gonna have to get fucking permission from me... And I'm not going easy on you." Bakugou scoffed.
Kirishima's face went pink.
He just meet this girl and he really didn't see her in any way other than a friend. He wanted to get to know her if he wanted to date her.
Emphasis on the 'if'.
"I'm not trying to date her, I just want to get to know her. She seems cool!" He grinned at his friends. It was almost blinding.
"Well... go have fun! But not too much fun!" Mine yelled as he walked away. That made his walk away even faster.
He walked his way down the path he walked last time. A park to the right with some houses to the left until a hospital came into view.
The automatic doors opened as a breeze of cool air from the AC kicked in. It was welcoming but not at the same time...
He checked in with the receptionist and made his way down to the same room. There was laughter on the other side.
This made Kirishima think she was with someone else, he was going to walk away until the door opened on its own.
"Don't just stand there... c'mon in!"
She was smiling at his with a bubble popping by her head. The redhead assumed she opened the door using her quirk.
He signed "I thought you couldn't use your quirk? Not very manly l/n." then sat down on the chair next to her bed.
"It was only for a second. You were standing there for like... a minute until I helped you out!" y/n flailed her arms about. Kirishima chuckled at her.
Then there was laughing again and he looked up to see a TV on the wall in front of her bed.
It was a random sitcom playing because y/n was actually sleeping before Kirishima came, but she wanted to talk to him again.
Their conversations started up talking about random things about each other. Kirishima learned her parent were actually out of town for the time being.
y/n learned Kirishima quirk was hardening. Then came to the conversation of heros...
"Can you tell me more sorties about your hero work? I always like it was Kat talks about it but usually in his stories he only says 'DIE' all the time!" She laughed. He also laughed knowing that's exactly what his friend would say.
"Well I told you a lot about my hero stuff... but there was this one time I had to fart while using my quirk and it came out hard! Don't ask because I don't know how." He rubbed the back of his neck sheepishly.
y/n broke out into laughter "T-that's that funnies thing I-I've ever heard!"
Kirishima quickly wanted to change to subject off his embarrassment. As she wiped the tears from her eyes he started another conversation "What about you? What do you want to do?"
The question caught y/n off guard. She's haven't been asked that in a while.
People would usually assume she wouldn't make it to fulfill her dream so they would never start the conversation. A warm smile came into her face.
"I really like stars"
Kirishima watched as she smiled to herself. He asked if she would explain more.
"Ever since I was little I always liked stars... It was mostly why I always snuck out with Kat at night. I'm a big fan of the constellations and zodiac signs.
Ask me something about it and I'll most likely be able to answer! But I really wanted to be an astronomer. Just studying starts as a job sounds like heaven."
Kirhsima smiled at y/n and said "If that's your dream you should do it! When I was in junior high I was really doubtful about weather I could be a hero or not..." he looked down onto the bed then back to her.
"...But I found a way to be manly!"
"I hate facing reality but I don't know if I'm actually going to live or not. That's why I gave up on it... but that doesn't mean I can't still love stars!"
He frowned a little hearing what y/n thought about the future. She really did face things as they were, huh?
To lighten the mood she put her hand on his shoulder as Kirishima looked at her "I'd love it if you came and saw me again. I won't be here for much longer but it'll still make me happy."
His eyes softened. He felt content with what they had going and wanted to get to know more about her.
"Yeah, I'd like that too"
