Izuku and Izumi were happily jumping on their parent's bed. The groggy parents knew what day it was, so they made breakfast as quick as possible and started along their way. Once they arrived at the doctors office Toshinori waited in the car. Inko taking Izuku and Izumi to the doctor. After a couple minutes of waiting the door opens, a nurse said, "Can I have the Yagi family follow me."

The three went into the hallway, as they were passing a room a red beam shot out, only having time to protect one of her children. Inko jumped in front of Izumi, both being low enough to the ground that they weren't hit, but Izuku was hit head on. Once the light was gone he stood up, confused as to what happened. The family continues on, Izuku getting a feeling of dread as they walked. Once they made it to the doctor's office they met their doctor. Izuku read the name plate out loud, "Doctor Misaki Konoha."

A woman who looked about in her mid forties came out of the room and ushered them in, she looked at the family, already knowing the fate of this poor boy, "You see, while Izumi has a quirk, Izuku doesn't have one. Yet I wouldn't underestim-"

Inko interrupted the woman, "Izumi's quirk please."

The doctor grew a tick mark, this woman already started to forget her son. Izuku was crying into his hands, probably a reaction from the shock, "Izumi's quirk is called Neutralize, she can use extremely powerful psychic waves to attack an opponent. The reason it's known as Neutralize is because of it's past user."

She saw Inko start to congratulate Izumi, while ignoring her other child, this sickened the doctor as this kid may not have had a quirk, but he did have something much better, and much more dangerous. She leaned down towards Izuku, the kid looked at her with tears in his eyes, "Look, you may not have a quirk, but that doesn't make you powerless. You have something that was thought to have been demolished upon the quirks arrival. You have a power, not a quirk, and believe me, your power's strong. It's called Dark Creation because of it's ability to create up to five sub-powers, added to its already overpowered strength. Here's the thing, you will almost have a second consciousness. Your power will have a personality of it's own until you learn to use the powers. This power is called a Spirit, they're known to be quite aggressive if their host comes into a life threatening situation. They will even go as far as using all their power, meaning that your spirit completely takes over your body. Use your powers wisely, and be the hero who fights for the weak, the powerless, and the hopeless."

Izuku was shocked, Inko and Izumi hadn't even heard the conversation due to their celebration. Izuku looked towards the doctor and asked, "What do I do to activate my Spirit?"

The doctor diverted her attention towards Inko and sighed, "You'll have to train, physically, mentally, and emotionally. This will help your Spirit appear around the age of six, without this training your Spirit will appear when you're about ten. So train, and one more thing."

Izuku was sitting, waiting for a response, "You can be a hero, no matter what anyone tells you, you can be a better hero than All Might, or even Laura, a legendary hero from the past, she had a Spirit as well, it wasn't as strong as yours, but she worked until she was the strongest hero alive. So work hard, and never give up."

The doctor told Izuku to go with his family, despite her really wanting to save the kid from his fate. As Izuku left she pulled out a coffee cup, her eyes changing to a pale blue compared to her previous bright red eyes. She pulled a folder out and opened it, it was a folder on Dark Creation's past, and powers. She read it out loud, "Dark Creation, last used by Kevin Steinhelm. Fought against the heroes in the War of Shadows, the leader of the Calrom squadron. The powers he chose to create were, Invincibility, Portal, Flamethrower, Bone Knife, and Dust. All that's known is the names, no description of the powers was even created due to the war. According to all sources available, Kevin had survived multiple near death experiences and lived in an abusive household. All of this leading to him joining the bad guys, though records say that he was also a known alcoholic. The main abilities of Dark Creation seem to be control over shadows, the ability to disappear into shadows, the ability to harden the darkness into tentacles or spikes, and the ability to create shadow clones. These clones are completely composed out of hardened shadows, they'll only disappear when either commanded by the user, or if it's so dark a shadow can't appear."

As she finished reading she closed the file and stared out the window, "I hope this kid doesn't go the same way Kevin did, this power has so much positive potential, I just hope he uses it right."

Misaki took a sip of coffee, and realized it was cold. She looked online for anything related to Dark Creation. The closest thing she found was an old article claiming that Dark Creation was the first quirk, which was about as true as Mario being Russian. As She sighed from the failed search she knew what would happen to Izuku, a life of heartbreak and pain would follow. Looking out onto the city, Misaki said one last thing, "See you soon, brother."

The doctor started to dissolve into a gold dust, "I did what you asked, and passed on the word of your obscure power to it's new host, I'll finally see you again, after so many years apart."

The doctor completely dissolved, the only trace being a pile of golden dust in her chair. Once the Yagi's got home Izuku was about as memorable as that one kid you never talked to in middle school. His family left him to fend for himself, he went hungry that night. When he tried grabbing any kind of food his parents would slap his hands and say it was for Izumi. Izuku sat in the corner of his room, and remembered the doctor's words. So he did the only thing he could to get his mind off of it, he started training, meditating, and he figured his emotional training would be the years of neglect he'd likely have to endure.
