Give and Take

Chapter 1

You woke up and got all your stuff ready, you were nervous, if the mission succeeds you would be free, you were tired of hurting innocent people. This life that you had, you didn't even want it. Except it was the only choice you had if you wanted to feed yourself and support your dying mother.

"Good morning everyone, I would like to introduce you guys to our newest member, y/n. She's gonna be working with us from now on, she is skilled and already has experience with titans and ODM gear" Erwin said.

After a while of meeting everyone, Sasha leads you to your dorm. "Thank you, Sasha," you said smiling. "No problem" she responded handing you your bags.

You entered your room and belly-flopped on your bed. You were tired, meeting everyone worn you out. It was about midnight. You had to get ready and go to bed, tomorrow was the first day and you needed to gain their trust and show them that you were worthy of being a scout.

You woke up and realized that it was 8:00 am. "Well damn, I'm an hour early," you said to yourself. You got up, stretched, and left to go shower. After showering you left to go put your clothes in the laundry and bumped into something. You looked up and saw that, that "something" was Levi Ackerman. 

You quickly got up and picked up your stuff, "I'm sorry, Captain" you said looking down. Levi looked at you and walked away. Your cheeks began to turn red out of embarrassment. You quickly put your clothes in the laundry and left for your dorm. You shut the door and looked at yourself in the mirror and yelped. You looked at what you were wearing, a crop top like a shirt and shorts. You sat on your bed and took a deep breath, Captain Levi saw you in your pajamas.

You got into uniform and went outside to the cafeteria, everyone was awake and eating breakfast. You got yourself a plate and sat at a table all by yourself. As you were eating you heard your name being called, you look behind you and see Sasha waving her hand at you, signaling you to sit next to her, you smiled and got up to sit next to her. "Y/N you would not believe what just happened, Jean and Eren were arguing and they fell hard on the ground, so then the commander heard the loud noise and came to see what it was, so then Mikasa blamed it on me and said that I farted," Sasha said covering her eyes in embarrassment, you tried your best not to laugh but you couldn't hold it in and burst out laughing.

"Mikasa that was a good cover-up," you said tried to gasp for air as you were laughing. Connie then also started laughing with Jean, "You should've seen the commander's face, he looked horrified" Jean said laughing. You smiled and continued to eat your food.   You looked to your left and saw Captain Levi staring in your direction, you looked away and continued to eat. Thinking nothing of it.

After you finished eating you got up and left for your dorm, you sat down on your bed and sighed. Holding a picture of you and your mom, "they're all so nice, why did I out of all people have to get this mission. How could I hurt them when they treat me as their own" You began to tear up but quickly wiped it away. You put the photo away and took a nap. In your nap, you were dreaming about Captain Levi.

You quickly woke up and washed your face with water. "No way, why did I see him in my dream," you said in shock, every time you closed your eyes he would pop up. "yeah you know what, fuck the nap". You got up and took a walk outside. The fresh air and the birds chirping reminded you why you were out here in the first place.
