It was afterschool of your Sophomore year of High school when you had to say goodbye to your boyfriend, Jean, before he moved away.
"You don't understand me, what the fuck do you mean? I TOLD YOU I DON'T HAVE A GODDAMN CHOICE!" fumed Jean.
"Dude chill out, This is your last time seeing her for a while. At least make it a good memory," argued Connie.
"At least text me when you get there. I hate yelling at you and you know this," you noted. Jean walked over to you and dropped his bag. He cupped your face wiping away your tears.
"Sorry," Jean whispered. He gave you a little forehead kiss before releasing his hands and grabbing his bag. You wished it would last forever.
Jean waved at the two of you before heading towards his car. You walked over to Connie and put your head on his shoulders. He immediately comforts you as you bawl your eyes out. It hurts to know that was your last time seeing your boyfriend. You don't know if you would ever get to see him again. You understood he had to go for his mother's new job. But your brain couldn't process it. He still managed to love you when it felt like he didn't and you still managed to love him through your ups and downs.
You hear the sounds of a chip bag being opened. You look up to see Sasha chowing down on some potato chips. You wipe your eyes and started laughing.
"What I miss?" questioned Sasha with her mouth full of chips.
"Jean just left," you giggled while wiping your tears.

You both were new to this whole long distance thing until Spring rolled around.
"Hey babe?" asked Jean. You guys were facetiming after school.
"Yea?" you responded.
"I'm just gonna come out and say this but I don't think I can do this anymore," he sighed.
You didn't respond.
"It's just hard for me not to be with you. I mean I know I fucked up many, MANY times. But I just can't do this anymore. I'm not moving anytime soon because my mom just got a promotion," Jean continued.

You woke up. You were back in your college dorm in Paradis University. It was like you had a bad dream but it actually happened. You were dreaming about the night Jean broke up with you. He's the one that's always running through your daydreams. You've always had feelings for him ever since that day two years ago but never told anyone. You grabbed your phone to see what time it was. It was 10 o'clock. You see that you got a good morning text from both Connie and Sasha. You unplug your phone and pushed the bedding off of you. You look over to see that your roommate, Mikasa, was gone. Not much of a shocker since she hits the gym at 6 and comes back around 10.
You put your slides on and went to the bathroom to freshen up. As you were brushing your teeth you hear the sound of keys opening the door. You look out to see that Mikasa was back and she brought breakfast.
"Good morning Y/N," smiled Mikasa.
"Morning!" you replied.
You finished brushing your teeth and walked out of the bathroom. You pulled out the breakfast sandwich Mikasa got you and sat on your bed. You open your phone to finally reply.
You : Morning! Does anyone want to hang out today?
Connie :0 : Sure. I don't think I have any classes today B)
Sasha <3 : Sorry I have classes today >:/
You loved "Sorry I have classes today >:/"
Connie :0 : Ill be over in 10.
You set down your phone and picked up your laptop. You finished the little work you had before Connie came.

15 minutes passed and Connie arrived. He was never on time.
"Good morning Everyone!" Connie shouted.
"Hey," Mikasa responded as she headed out. She had a little study session with Eren.
"Bitch! Guess who I dreamed about," you blurted. You had to tell Connie. He was always there for you and you had to tell him while the tea was still hot.
"What? What happened?" Connie responded.
"I dreamed about the night Jean broke up with me for some reason. Which is very odd since it happened two years ago," you hesitated. Connie just stopped. His face looked blank like he did something wrong.
"Connie, what the fuck. Are you okay?" you were concerned.
"Oh- Fuck- I'm fine," Connie answered. Its like he blacked out or something. "Yeah that is weird"
You didn't think much of his weird pause so you two just chilled in your dorm for almost 20 minutes until Connie realized he had to study for his exam that he forgot about. That fucker.
"DAMN! Sorry Y/N I have an exam to study for. Shit- BYE!" He grabbed his keys and ran out. But that bitch always forgets something. This time it was his phone.
You picked up his phone and ran out after him. His phone lit up because he got a notification. It read:
Jeanyboy: Hey man! Did you ever finish the work Professor Hange assigned? I literally don't understand this shit. Also are you still coming to library?
Wait a damn minute. This couldn't be Jean, right? Like Jean Kirstein, right? You ran immediately to the library with only Jean in mind. You made it to the library to see Connie at a table with some dude with his hair just above his shoulders. He turns around to get something out of his bookbag causing you to get a glimpse of his face. You pause. You accidently drop Connie's phone and yell out.
"JEAN!" you hollered. You couldn't believe after 2 years his face still looked the same. He turns around and his face is in awe.
"Y/N?" His eyes lit up. It felt like forever since you saw his dirt-colored eyes.
You never thought you would see him again.
