『Rengoku X Reader』

Under the Wisteria

"Rengoku-san! I've been looking everywhere for you!" a girl with (h/c/l) wearing a (f/c) colored kimono waved at the said pillar.

"Oh! (Y/N)! It's nice to see you here! Why have you been looking for me?" the flame pillar asked, quite astonished to see the girl in a different outfit.

"U-umm, you see..." the girl trailed off wondering if she should continue with what she wants about to say.

You see, it's really hard talking to your crush.

Rengoku looked at the girl and immediately knew what she wanted. He looked at the girl's face, a very prominent blush decorating it.

"Would you like to have lunch with me?" he asked making (Y/N) look at him in surprise.

"W-well I was about to ask you the same question, Rengoku-san..." she mumbled loud enough for both of them to hear.

"Yes. Lunch with you would be nice." the girl added.

"Oi! (Y/N)-chan!" Tanjiro called out to a certain (h/c) girl.

The girl looked back at her, smiling.

"Hey! Tanjiro!"

"I've got something to tell you. Listen carefully." the burgundy haired boy said seriously.

(Y/N) then stopped her training for a while and then walked over to Tanjiro to hear him out.

"Something big is going on this afternoon. You have to get ready so I'll come and pick you up later, okay?" he said.

"B-but why? Why do I have to get dressed? What's going to happen?" (Y/N) asked, curiously.

"You'll know once you arrive." he said as if hiding something.

"So, Tanjiro, are we there yet?" (Y/N) asked his friend who just smiled at her.

They had been waking on this mountain trail for minutes with Tanjiro accompanying her up the steps.

Once they're on the top of the mountain, the girl immediately looked at the scenery in awe. There was a picnic blanket set right under a beautiful wisteria tree. There she saw Rengoku smiling at them.

Tanjiro then left before saying good luck which made the (h/c) girl blush bright red.

"Come here, (Y/N)" Rengoku said while staring directly at the girl's (e/c) hues with a smile on his face.

The girl obliged and sat on the other side of the blanket, looking at the scenery around her. She was amazed.

"It's very...beautiful in here." (Y/N)  said while looking at the view.

"Yes, it is." Rengoku said while looking at the girl in front of him.

(Y/N) noticed it and then blushed even more. If that was possible.

"I-i was talking about the view, Rengoku-san." she defended, earning a hearty laugh from the flame pillar.

"Listen, (Y/N)," Rengoku said while holding both of the girl's hands, "You are amazing, beautiful, kind, brave and everything in between. You've made me fall in love with you. I have always liked you and now... I love you. Will you please be my girlfriend?" he asked, a slight blush on his cheeks making the girl's heart pound.

"I don't like you Rengoku-san..." the girl said. " I love you too. And... And I'd love to be your girlfriend." the girl said while tackling the flame pillar into a tight hug.

And there they sat and chatted with each other while watching the sunset, unraveling the dark night sky under the wisteria...

I'm sorry if it's short but I sure hope y'all liked it friends! Rengoku's death actually made me kinda sad though....
