Chapter 7: The Unexpected Stay Pt. 1

While Mari was fast to sleep, Adrien continued to hold her close. He kissed her forehead as she sighed softly in her sleep. He didn't want to leave her and wake her, but he needed to find Ladybug. And see if she was done recovering. He sighed getting up. He started to prepare and leave, but a hand grabbed hold of his wrist. "please don't go, stay."
She puppy-eyed him. He chuckled.  Laying back down on her bed, wrapping his arms around her, placing his forehead on hers. "I thought you were asleep." He booped her nose.

"I couldn't sleep." She shrugged.

"Want me to cuddle with you until it's morning then?"

She nodded. "Let's just have the rest of the night and tomorrow all to ourselves."

He took a sigh. "Alright, I'll stay."

She sighed, smiled, closing her eyes with relaxation. She starts to feel this all the sudden pain in her stomach, but it then goes away. That night Adrien still kept thinking and worrying about Marinette. He kept on getting headaches because of Hawkmoth telling him, forcing him to bring Ladybug's Miraculous. Even his cousin Liz was concerned.

(A/N) In this story, Liz didn't get "kidnapped by Rtas"

In the morning Marinette woke up cold, without anyone in bed except her. Her phone chimed, it was a text from Liz.

Hey Mar!

Hey Liz! What's up?

I was wondering if it's alright if I could come over and spend the nights with you guys, plus I want to help you with your um little... you know...

Yeah! Sure!!!

Awesome! See u soon!

 She went downstairs and found her boyfriend making breakfast for her. "No.." he groaned. "This was supposed to be breakfast in bed!" he complained.

"Awe my little kitty. You made this all for me and you." she giggled.

"Well... it was going to be a surprise..."

"Awe you still upset?" He nodded.

She immediately kissed him, with a peck. He blushed, jumped, then kissed back, cupping her face with his hands, they broke apart and embraced their hug. "I love you," he said softly.

"I love you too Adrien." she paused biting her lip. "By the way, your um... cousin is coming to spend the nights with us. She doesn't like the loneliness, wants to hang out with me and um, also check on something..."

Adrien sighed. "As long as she doesn't do anything to disturb us I'm fine with it." He smiled slightly.

"Adrien. She's your cousin. And not to mention she's older than us, if anything she'll be the one making sure we don't bother her." Marinette chuckled.

He rubbed the back of his neck. "oh.. right." 

"You goof."

The doorbell rang. "That must be Liz," said Mari.

"Hey, cutie! How are you?" Said Liz.

"I'm good." Marinette paused. "Everything is going great." She faked smiled. She wanted to make sure to seem like everything was fine with having an akumatized villain in her house. "So," Liz started. "Adrien why don't you continue making our breakfast and I'll take Liz to the guest room." Marinette chimed.

"Yes! Please do." Liz awkwardly smiled.

The girls went upstairs, while they left Adrien to continue making their breakfast.

"So...everything holding up here ok?" asked Liz.

"U-um yeah! Why you ask?"

"Marinette, you do realize I can read your thoughts, and I know that you're definitely lying," Liz said sternly, looking at the girl worried. Liz still had issues with her baby and being pregnant for a long period of time, but she was strong, knew what to do when it came to these certain situations. 

"Right." Mari sighed, with sadness. "I don't know it's hard to keep this up, lying to him, not telling him I'm Ladybug. And then fighting with him constantly day and night sometimes, trying to persuade him to give up his Akuma and turn him good, also I've been developing this pain in my stomach and been having dizzy spells, constant diarrhea, and vomiting."

"Mari... have you considered having a pregnancy test?..."

"You don't think...-" Marinette frowned.

Liz frowned at her, but with a stern look on her face. "I believe that you are." she paused. "I mean after all," she motioned her stomach.

"No... N-no I'm sure it's just a common cold." Marinette said nervously.

"Mari. The signs are there."

"Y-you're wrong."

Liz sighed. "Can we at least test it."

Marinette opened her mouth then closed it, she took a deep breath then nodded saying yes. Liz nodded at Alexa. She gave her the pregnancy test. Mari went to the bathroom, when she got done she came back out in tears. Liz saw the test, as she hugged the girl. Positive. It was official Marinette Dupain-Cheng was pregnant. And there were blue eyes watching them.
