"Grayson for the last time I said no!" Damian hollered at his youngest brother as he ran through the cave. "It's not safe for you to go patrol tonight."

"But, but Damian!" Dick whined. "Jason and Tim are going!"

Tim walked up behind Dick and ruffled his hair. "I'm only going because Bruce is out of town tonight and Damian can't patrol by himself. And Jason's going because we need someone to blame if it all goes wrong."

"Hey!" Jason exclaimed and Dick giggled. Tim ran off and followed Damian to where all the uniforms were held. Damian grabbed his Nightwing suit while Tim fiddled with the utility belt on his Red Bird suit.

Jason's foot steps echoed as he ran through the cave to catch up with his brothers. "Hey wait for me!" He called out.

Damian looked up from his position. "I thought you had English homework Todd."

Jason ran up to his oldest brother and gave a goofy grin. "I got that done just five minutes ago. Now where are my grappling hooks?"

Damian rolled his eyes and went off to change. Tim slipped on the mask while Dick pulled at his sleeves. "C'mon Timmy!!! Let me go!!! I have a Robin suit, I know how to stand guard, I even have my own utility belt!!! Please let me go!!!"

Tim peeled his baby brother off of him. "Dick I need to change, and Bruce said that you couldn't be Robin until you turned 13."

"But I'm almost 12!!" Dick whined.

Damian walked out in his Nightwing uniform, "Grayson. No means no."

Jason trapped Dick in a hug from behind, the cape of his Robin uniform swishing around them. "Besides, we can't both be the Robin! You can be Baby Robin until you graduate to the Robin. Okay Baby Robin?"

Dick shrugged Jason off of him as Tim came out with his mask over his eyes. "We don't want you to get hurt, that's all. Maybe when Bruce gets back from his patrol, you can go. But for now-"

Dick threw himself at Tim and looked up with his bright blue eyes. "I'll just stay in a safe spot the whole time! I can stand watch with Jason, or stay in the Batmobile! Please Timmy? I won't tell Bruce!"

Tim looked at Damian, who looked at Dick, and placed a hand over his face. "Father is going to kill us all if he finds out," he mumbled. "Go get your getup on Grayson. And hurry before we leave without you." Dick rushed up and gave Damian a hug before getting into his Robin uniform.

Jason pointed a finger at himself and one at Dick. "I'm still the ACTUAL Robin right? He's just like, the Baby Robin who wanted to tag along right?"

Tim ruffled Jason's hair. "Whatever you say dummy. But Dick has to stay with you at all times. And we won't go anywhere deep inside Gotham, there has been too many Joker sightings lately."

"I'm ready!" Called out Dick, with his cape flapping behind him.

Damian sighed one more time. "This is such a bad idea." Tim gave him a look and walking off, Damian announced he was driving. "And no backseat shenanigans, or I'll kick you to the curb." Dick giggled at the comment and Damian couldn't help but smile.

~*~*~*~*~*~*~

Tim looked through the screen of the laptop one last time. Damian peeked over his shoulder, wanting to get a better look. "So if we avoid this part of town," Tim started, his Red Bird suit bright against the dark sky, "we should be able to avoid Joker at all times. And besides, Batman is tracking the Joker as we speak, so we should be good. Unless we run into Batman, and he sees that we have two Robins, then we're all grounded til we die."

Damian nodded and looked at Tim. Though Tim was 17, and two years younger than him, Damian felt obliged to listen to him. Tim always had his head on straight, and knew what the most logical plan would be. Damian shifted the mask on his face. "Tim?" He asked, his tone serious.

"Mmhh?" Tim shut the computer and looked up.

Glancing at Jason and Dick, who were seeing who could throw a rock the farthest, Damian leaned in close and whispered, "I feel like something bad will happen."

Tim placed his hand on Damian's shoulder. "Nothing bad will happen, I swear. We haven't seen any crime yet tonight, and all you and I need to do is check the jewelry store that had a robbery last week. Remember, the one where someone said the thugs had clown masks on?"

"But that's the thing Drake!" Damian stresses. "They must be Jokers thugs, they might come back tonight, and Grayson can't handle and combat!"

Tim's eyebrows knitted in frustration. "Dick will be with Jason the entire time, and all they're going to do is stand outside the store do they feel like they're doing something. It'll be okay Damian. Trust me on this. Hey Jason!" Tim walked away towards the youngest two, who looked up from what they were doing.

Jason looked up with a bored expression while Dick was jumping up and down from excitement. "Alright boys here's the plan," Tim clapped his hands together. "Damian and I need to go scan a jewelry store for finger prints, while you two will stand guard. There hasn't been any criminal sightings at all tonight, so you'll be fine."

Jason rolled his eyes. "Why can't we do anything fun?"

Damian walked up and crossed his arms over his Nightwing symbol. "Because the most important thing is that Grayson stays safe. If you need to contact us, use the speaker in your gloves and belts. Got it?"

Dick nodded and saluted Damian, earning a eye roll form Jason. "Come on Baby Bird, lets go stand guard."

Tim and Damian ran off to the store,s back door while Jason and Dick ran to the front door.

~~~~~~
Inside the store, Damian started up the scanner while Tim hooked up the computer. The sound of fingers hitting the keyboard was the only sound that could be heard. Walking the inside perimeter of the store, Damian searched for the fingerprints they needed. "Is there any?" He whispered to Tim.
Tim shook his head. "There are,but not the ones we need. The computer will say 'match found' if the scanner picks up- wait we've got one!"
Damian rushed over. "A match?" He said with enthusiasm.
Tim nodded and the screen filled up with the information they wanted. "It's a match for the Joker himself, but..."
Damian looked at his brother. "But what? Drake what wrong?" The distress could be easily heard in his voice.
Tim's face was pale and his breathing uneasy. "The robbery was two weeks ago, so these prints should be stale." Damian came to the realization when Tim finished. "These prints are fresh. Damian, the Joker is close-"
"Oh my gosh," Damian panicked. "Grayson and Todd are out there." Damian then ran out the door, afraid of what might have happened.
