Father:

Salty tears swell up in my eyes

As fear races through my veins.

The anger...

It seems to radiate off him,

Forcing me to hide.

The sounds of her sobs

Flood my ears.

I know the pain she now faces,

Emotionally

And physically

The sobbing ends,

But soon after,

Father appears,

Hatred beaming

From his stone cold gaze.

He grabs my arm,

Pulling me into the dining room.

Sara lies on the floor...

Unconscious...

Blood dripping from her head.

A single thought passes through my mind...

When will this end?
