Reincarnated as the Villain

Chapter 2- "Wait.... LESSONS?!"

'I'm...alive?'

As I thought that, what I thought were adult hands, since it seemed like I was a baby, craddled my head and a blinding light forced me to shut my eyes.

'Then that means... I'm being born again?' I thought to myself as I heard a proud voice.

"Congratulations! It's a handsome baby boy!" The woman who held me said, which prompted a triumphant "YES!" from a male voice.

Said man took me into his arms and I finally managed to open my eyes. It seemed like this man who was currently holding me was my father. And I have to say, he had a nice face. He had a strong but gentle grip on me so I can only assume that he had a muscular build. His hair was a deep shade of grey, with vibrant violet eyes.

"He's perfect.... What shall we call him dear?" The man asked to who i presumed was my mother.

"...Anakin..yes, Anakin Von Alderes. The perfect name for our little warrior." My mother said as my father handed me to her.

"Then Anakin it is. A fitting name for the heir." My father remarks with a smile.

'Anakin...That name sounds familiar....' As i thought to myself I took a moment to look at my mother. She had hair the same shade as blood, which contrasted greatly with her black eyes.

A couple years passed and I'm currently in my room. I gained a lot of baby fat already, but I'm still only a child so it'll go away when I reach my teen years. I've learned that I'm in the otome game I played a lot in my past life. I was happy when I found that out, but then I realized who I was. I was the main villain. That's why Anakin sounded so familar... I absolutely lost my mind when I found that out. I cried for so long since I was in baby's body.

'I absolutely still can't believe it.... those cg's will forever haunt me...' I thought to myself as I remembered the graphic bad end scenes in which the villain dies a horrible death. And even then, the good end scenes were still pretty graphic! And the amount of bad things that the villain puts the heroine through. It gives me a chill.

The door opens and interrupts my thoughts and my mother comes in.

"Hello my little warrior!" She chimes as she held her hands behind her back.

"Hello mother." I answered with a blank face,"What is that you're holding?" I asked curiously.

"Oh this? Well... it's a present for you!" She exclaims as she shows me a neatly wrapped present with a neat bow on top of it.

"Hm? But it isn't my birthday...." I say as I look at the present and then at my mother.

"It doesn't have to be your birthday for me to give you a present!" She exclaims in a childish manner.

I simply smile and laugh, it's at times like these that I forget that this is the villain's last interaction with his mother. In the original game, his mother is murdered when she leaves to visit her family. The culprit was never caught and when the duke, or my father, asks for permission from the king to investigate further he is denied. Because of this the duke is furious with the king and delves into some shady buisness which later leads to his and the family's downfall.

It's a pretty cliche event considering the amount of times they just killed off a semi-improtant character in otome games for depth. Now that I think about it, the villain's backstory was actually well thought out. It seemed like the writers spent more time on his backstory than the ml and other love interests. His character and story was one of the best ones, and let's not forget the fact that he's a hidden route you get when you complete all the other routes!

Although, now that I'm living his backstory, it feels kinda wierd... I still find it hard to believe since it all just feels like a super long cg. Though it's not like I'm complaining, I got my wish granted, so like I promised i'll do my best to be a good son.

Meanwhile my mother was going on a rant on why she can bring me gifts even when it's not a special holiday, I'm surprised she's still going...

"Ah, I get it mother.. It's fine if you bring me gifts whenever..." I said in an attempt to stop her rant. Lukcily it did and she happily gave me the small present.

"Now since I want it to be a surprise, you have to wait until I come back from my visit to open that box!" She said with a bright smile. It was hard to imagine that this woman in front of me is actualy a notorious leader, known for her unyielding wrath.

Ah, I guess I should explain my situation right? My name is Anakin Von Alderes, I am the villain in the BL Otome game, The Key To Your Heart. There are a total of 6 romancable love interests, two of which are hidden routes. The main 4 include, Adrien Ludenburg, the flirty prince, Aries Callahaun, the knight in shining armor, Elven Lockwood, the cold but smart hot guy, and Valentine Sweets, the token yandere character. The hidden routes are Anakin Von Alderes, the villain or me, and Sin Boreas, the weakened demon king. The setting is mainly in the school called Celtic High. However, it chnages from time to time such as the dorms, the King's Palace, the forbidden woods, and the Alderes Household. This is all based in the world Maaltik, and there are about 4 main races, and 20 sub-races. The 4 races are Demons, Humans, Beastman, and Elves. This is all i know as far as the writers let on.

"Duchess, I am sorry to interupt, but you are required to attend the meeting regarding the war and it's current status." My mother's personal aid said out of nowhere, slightly startling me.

"Ah, I'm sorry for startling you young master." He said and bows apoligeticaly.

"There's no need, I should've paid more attention.." I said, a bit nervous since I still wasn't used to the fact that I was the duke's and duchess's kid.

"Well then, Eren and I will be going now. Make sure to go to your father in a bit for your magic lessons in the garden." My mother said as she walks towards the door.

"Of course mother." I respond and she leaves along with Eren.

I sigh a bit and start pacing a bit, then I stopped in my tracks.

"Wait.... LESSONS?!"
