It had been two years since Izuku's life took a darker turn, he constantly trained, and resorted to stealing money and food just to survive. His old friends, Katsuki Bakugo and Ochako Uraraka started to bully him, his sister joining in, all compelled by ill-intent. Normally he'd come home hurt and almost died when his family locked him outside in the middle of a winter night. Waking up after his mom kicked him in the ribs, that bitch wasn't even considered his mom in his eyes, she was Inko Yagi, a heartless bitch. His father wasn't much better, the bastard could pass his quirk to Izuku or at least train him. Though Izuku was happy, he knew that he'd get his Spirit any day now. Once he got his Spirit he could finally stand up for himself, but a part of him wondered if he should. If he showed his Spirit to anyone who looked down on him and he suddenly had friends, they weren't real friends. Izuku made a decision from then on, he'd train his Spirit in private. Not much can be done about the messed up state of the world. Though he could change it for the better. Izuku was walking home from school when some upperclassmen dragged him into an alley. Normally Izuku wouldn't be to worried, but it was the kid's expressions that made him uncomfortable. One was a girl with lilac colored hair, pure black eyes, and a spike on her shoulder. Tsuna Namakiri, quirk, Transformer. She can turn her body into anything she wants, even have different parts of her body as different things. Izuku didn't know how he knew that, but was glad for the information. The other two seemed like twins, both girls. One had white hair, the other had black. Their eyes were silver, and they had a crazed smile. Kita and Hiro Grotana, quirks, Yin and Yang, Kita can release a positive energy that if used to a certain extent can cause an effect similar to ecstasy. Hiro can release a negative energy that if used to a certain extent can cause suicidal thoughts or tendencies.

Izuku was terrified now that he knew their quirks, question was, what were they doing? Izuku was curious, confused, and scared. As the girls seemed to be discussing something Izuku heard a voice in his head, 'Use your shadow travel, focus, and escape. They want to do something worse then the bullying you've endured.'

Izuku decided not to question it and felt himself sink into what seemed like water, yet he could breath just fine. He heard muffled sounds all over the city, actually, he heard a language he wasn't familiar with, Italian maybe? Izuku looked around and saw pitch black, light visible, but not shining. Almost like a hole of light, that was stopped by the darkness. Izuku swam over and realized it was another shadow, Izuku went up into the shadow and was somewhere he didn't recognize. A factory that obviously wasn't in Japan, the writing was in a language he couldn't understand at all. Darkness seemed to cover the sign as he could read it, "Giorno's pizza?"

As Izuku was reading the sign a teen came up behind him, "You like the sign, finest pizza in all of Italy."

Izuku turned around and stared at the teen, he had blonde hair in a strange hairstyle, and an odd, revealing outfit. Izuku figured he'd fit into a 90's style dance club perfectly, "Your Giorno, right."

Giorno Giovanna, quirkless, power, Golden Experience. Izuku looked at Giorno with interest, "You're like me, you have a power, not a quirk."

Giorno seemed taken aback at first but then asked, "Can you see this?"

Izuku looked towards Giorno and saw a shadowy figure, impossible to make out facial features as it was purely shadow. Izuku was startled by this, but gained his composure quickly, "Why do you have a sentient shadow sir."

The teen seemed to be questioning Izuku, "Hey kid, what're you even doing here."

Izuku rubbed the back of his head before he let out a weak sigh, "I was getting away from a bad situation and somehow ended up here."

Giorno nodded like he'd had a similar experience, "Follow me, I have something to test."

Izuku followed, sure he was confused, but he knew he could just disappear if things got to negative. He followed Giorno to what looked like a battle arena floating on water. Once there Izuku assumed he knew what it meant. Giorno's shadow went in for a punch, Izuku sinking into his shadow to avoid it. Giorno had his guard up, and for good reason, his shadow barely caught a tendril coming from a buildings shadow. Suddenly the tendril had spikes all over it, causing Giorno's shadow to be cautious on how he held it. Izuku came up behind Giorno with his hand covered in shadows, and was forced to catch a punch from Giorno's shadow. Giorno smirked as the shadow disappeared, Izuku was confused before the teen spoke up, "Your strong, especially since you don't have a stand or quirk. You see, not everyone has a quirk. Many people have other abilities, like Nen, Chakra, and Stands to name a few. You don't possess those abilities, yet you still have a power. I look forward to our next meeting kid, but you should really get home. Come back here tomorrow after school and we'll train some more."

Izuku nodded and sunk into his shadow once more, it was dark in his room, so Izuku just came out there. As Izuku laid down on his bed he wondered what was going on. Then the voice from before said, 'You are my host, and you already used two abilities my previous host never had to. Shadow translation and informative darkness. I could not sense any ill intent from Giorno, so you may train with him again.'

Izuku jumped from the voice, but quickly calmed down, upon discovering it was his Spirit he got excited. He even made a new friend, all in all, a pretty good day.
