3 am in the morning Mason's phone rings multiple times. Mason wakes up and rubs his eyes "Why is my phone ringing?" Mason sees it is the hospital is calling him. He thinks that they got the wrong person but answers the phone. "Hello?" Mason answers. "Hello? Is this Mason Teach?"
"Yes this is him. Why what's wrong?"
"Okay. So your mom was rushed here to Smiths Junior Hospital because a neighbor saw her having a stroke outside."
Mason freezes and tries to not cry "W-what?! Is she okay?!"
"She is sleeping right now. She is near death sir. And we called you cause you were set under her emergency contacts."
Mason starts to cry. "Please be okay Mama... Please! I can't be without you!"
The doctor sighs sadly "You can come to the Hospital and come see her for the last time if you'd like."
Mason cries hard waking up Lucas "Okay ma'am.. Thank you" Mason hangs up and throws his phone as Lucas sits up comforting Mason "What's wrong? Take a deep breath" Mason shakes his head and sobs into Lucas's chest and breathes heavily "S-she i-is-s" Lucas rubs Masons back "Tell me when you can calm down and can breathe. Okay?" Mason nods and calms down slowly "Okay... My mom is in the hospital because she had a stroke and she is on death line. So the hospital was calling me and calling me, to tell me."
Lucas nods "She's strong. She'll make it... " Lucas hugs Mason tightly. Mason hugs back "She'll be okay... She'll be okay.." Mason says to himself on and on again. Lucas let's go "so you wanna go see her before anything happens?" Mason nods and stands up walking to the car still in his pajamas.
*Arrives at the Hospital*
Mason holds his mom's hand "Mama... please don't leave..." Marie looks at Mason with sad eyes. "I'm sorry May-May.." A doctor comes into the room. "She's gonna be gone soon. This is her last week alive." Mason starts to sob. "No!" Marie looks down but looks up again. "I know you don't want me to go... but I sadly have to" Mason starts to have a bad breakdown so they call Lucas in and Lucas grabs Mason bringing him to the car. 'I DON'T WANNA LEAVE MY MUMMA!' Mason screams loudly so Lucas covers his ears. "Bb, calm down!" Mason shakes his head. "I want her..." Lucas nods "Yes I know. She'll be happy and not in pain" Mason yawns and sniffs. "Can we go home? I'm getting really tired and I have a headache"
Lucas drives home and brings Mason into the house laying him on the bed. "I love you, goodnight bb" Lucas smiles, kissing Mason's forehead and nose. Mason falls asleep as Lucas goes to the bathroom to take a bath. Lucas goes into the bathtub and relaxes. Mason wakes up due to him sweating. "Nope... I can't even sleep.." Mason looks around not seeing Lucas so he starts to get worried and tears up again. Lucas gets out from the tub and stretches. He comes into the room without a towel not knowing Mason was awake. Lucas walks in as Mason looks at Lucas and blushes covering his eyes "Babe... Go change" Lucas giggles and grabs clothes and changes. "I'm sorry bae. I didn't mean to do that. But anyways, how was your nap?" Mason sighs sadly. "I'm still sad about mom... but it was kinda good. I was sweating badly so I woke up. Don't know what was wrong." Lucas sits on the bed. "Do you want to go into the movie theater room and watch a movie and have pizza tonight?" Mason nods and smiles. "That seems fun to do.." Mason stands up "Can I hold your hand? Even though the theater room is right downstairs.." Lucas nods and takes Mason's hand and walks to the room and sits down with Mason in his lap.
Mason falls asleep in Lucas's lap and then Lucas falls asleep too.
